It's that time of the year. Not too many major Releases due out the rest of the year, so I thought it'd be safe to start it now. My vote is for Morrowind, although WC3 and NWN were also great games as well.

Hi, Never had a problem with Quicktime previously, but just installed a new AthlonXP 2000+ and new motherboard, reinstalled XP, downloaded SP1 and downloaded Quicktime 6 so I could watch my exclusive Who videos from the Ultimate Collection CDs.

Pinnacle PCTV pro wierd problem

Hello again everybody, i was wondering if anyone came accross a very wierd problem that i encountered after installing PCTV Pro's software (5. 11). The TV starts normally and it plays normally, but after 1 min (more or less) the sound stops playing.

Printer sharing NT and Win2000

Can anyone help me. I have NT workstation linked by network to a win2000 pc with a shared HP deskjet 890c. Every time i try to add the printer to my own printers, the PC errors on every driver I install, even from the install disk of the printer.

Problems with firewire

Hi, I hope someone can help me. I am running win2k with directx8. 1 and I am having ptoblems with firewire. I have an external firewire hdd and this is detected fine. I also have an Epson Stylus photo 2100 which has a firewire port but when this is plugged in the system does not see it.

File won't delete, HELP!!!

I have WindowsXP Pro SP1 (which I am starting to think was a huge mistake). I Ran a web stripper and it created a file on my desktop, named test. When I try to delete the file I get : Cannot delete file: Cannot read from the source file or disk.

This is critical, and if you don't you will get hacked into next week!! Use netbeui for netbios on your lan, (ON XP it's on the cd in the valueadd folder), or disable netbios over TCP/IP on your internet connected nic and leave it enabled on your lan nic.

These new ATI Catalyst 2. 5 drivers work great under Windows 2000. I am running a Radeon 8500LE and the lockups with older GL programs in 2. 4 are now gone. This set also adds some new Control Panel options.

Documents and Settings folders linked in start menu

How do I get rid of Document and Settings folders links in the start menu? When I attempt to delete them, the actually folder on the hard drive go to the recycle bin as well. The folders are not for applications, they are documents and settings folders for users.

I've had my intellimouse for about a year and now since i've reformatted its been having problems with games. The mouse works fine in windows 2000 but when a run a game the mouse usually continuly clicks the left click button.

Laptop and monitor problem

I got a laptop and I just got a second hand monitor. Now it's a HP Ergo 1024. When I connect it to the laptop, the laptop is shutted down, and when I turn on the power button, it goes on and off. So in other words it won't turn on.
