okay. . . i installed the 40. 41. . from nvidias site. . . . on 2 systems (one with GF4 Ti4200 and one with GF2 GTS). . . so. . . same problem. . . . i can choose refreshrate as usual. . up to 100hz (all my monitor takes).

cfs2 wont play

running 2k pro on fat32 file system , after down loading cfs2 from brand new disk ,it prompts for correct cd, says it cant locate? Movies and videos will play though. cd rom s are a compaqcrd-8322-b and a 32x12x48 elements silverbullett burner any suggestions?.

I just bought an ATI 9700 pro video card. The piece of s#!+ doesn't work on some games on my Win2K box. Anyone experience this hl. exe has generated some errors and window will now close. ? Sucks when you think you've gotten something cool and is ends up being a disaster.

Problems with ATA100 RAID Controller

Hello there, Recently I bought ATA100 RAID Controller (Dawicontrol DC-100 UDMA-100 controller with Highpoint chip HPT370) so I striped my two 80GB Seagate HDD drives in one 160GB Array. Now in my case data blocks are written inteleaved between 2 disk drives, so the performance shuld be nearly doubled.

Saving Windows settings for a new install of 2k.

Can the file 'ntuser. dat' be saved and replace the same file in a new install of 2k so I don't have to redo all the Windows settings? I assume that is the correct file. What is the difference between the file in the root directory and the one under my user name in Documents and Settings?.

I have a very strange problem something NO ONE seems to have an answer for. I just bought the new ASUS A7N8X mobo with the nForce 2 chipset. I install a fresh copy of XP and when i go to get my windows updates it tells me there are none available for this machine at this time.

Smallest I can get so far is 330mb for winnt system folder but i need to get it smaller for example if i want to put it on a 512 ...

hey. . . i have a mp3 folder and it is customized to a music folder. until yestersay i was able to click on the command play all , and winamp would automatically load with all the mp3's in its play list.
