I didn't have this problem until I installed service pack 3. Running the latest IE 6. 0 SP1 with the cumulative update and SP3. I decided to install SP3 to complete my windows update and got this problem.

Hi, I'm trying to get Master of Magic to work on Winxp Home. Every time I try to run install, it just gives me a blank screen. I tried to get around this by just copying all the files to my computer and running magic.

With all these new AGP 3. 0 motherboards that are AGP 8X, will AGP 4X 2. 0 cards work? Most new motherboards state 1. 5V AGP cards only, since AGP 4X cards are 1. 5V they should work in AGP 8X systems right? Been looking around the web, and all the answers are vague, like its possible to put am AGP 2.

Have just completed setting up a 2-PC LAN using a LinkSys Router. Seems to work great. However, when I go to My Network Places/Computers near me, while both PCs are listed, the new PC shows up as kr3n8bo.

Well I took the plunge for the heck of it! Only playing Medieval Total War at the moment and I did notice that now when trying to save a game the save game menu flashes and it's a pain trying to figure out where to clic to actually save the game.

Anyone know some good methods to save some space in my hard drive. I got a 8BG hard drive which has been patitioned into C drive with 2GB and D drive with 6GB. Now the D drive has plenty of space but C drive I got only 460MB left and something is wrong with my Disk cleanup option so I can't use that.

Why is my Win2k DC not able to access the security policy?

I have a Win2k DC that I am putting in a remote VPN site. Now, when I have the DC at the main site, it can access the security policy just fine. However, when I take it to the remote site, it can't access it.

I have an Enterprise Certificate Server installed and I was following this article: to install an IPsec certificate. I get to step #5 under Installing a Local Computer Certificate from an Enterprise Windows 2000 Certificate Authority and then it has a pop-under window that says Downloading Active X control.

need for speed 3 : hot persuit doesn't run on XP

Hi, when I tried to run NFS 3 hot persuit on XP It does nothing. No error message, nothing. I have downloaded auto patcher for NFS 3, but it doesn't work too, can't connect to server I tried some compatibility options in XP and still not working.

NV18 & NV28:NVIDIA Chips with AGP-8x Flavor - a waste?

Is this a waste or what. . . . . Nvidia making ther ti4200 and g4mmx 8x AGP. I really see no point in this. ATI 9700pro card, and even AIW 9700 PRO got 8x agp, but so few motherboards have 8x suport yet, as it really is not something that is needed.

Anyone think Medal of Honor is cheap at times. Sometimes levels seem impossible to complete and you have to get lucky to survive with your 100 health. I was playing Spearhead and the part with the supply truck in the second mission is REALLY hard.

Performance of DX9 with GF4

I'm just wondering, what kind of performance increase (or decrease) would DirectX 9 have when used with a system that has GeForce 4 series or Radeon 8500 in WinXP? I know that Radeon 9700 and the upcoming GeForce FX are built with DirectX 9 in mind.
