Disabling NetBIOS over Tcp/Ip

NetBIOS over TCP/IP. . . . . do I need to disable it?? If so, how? Pls take this into consideration: My PC is a stand-alone machine, has no network cards installed and I use dialup for Net access.

Folder Costumization problem

Recentelly I moved my music folder to an spare drive. The problems appered wen i want to use it for other stuff but i can't remove the music folder options and, since it's a drive there's no costumization tab.

Problems with GTA III in Win XP Prof !

I dl the patch for Xp Prof that should have fixed GTA III. I went to look fot it in Google. That solved the menu screen from displaying nothing. But as soon as you say new game , it only loads a small bit then throws you an exception error.

Please help me figure out why my custom webviews no longer work with 2k sp3. They worked with sp2 but it seems sp3 killed them. Also I can no longer disable the media preview when I click a video or audio file in a folder.

XP PRO Castle Wolfenstein ?

;( I have an Evo N600c Notebook with a P111 1GHZ 512MB RAM 20Gb Hdd and a 16 Mb Radeon video card. Here's the problem I can run driver flawlessly for hours then when I'm into Castle Wolfenstein as soon as the sound gets intense it will lock up solid then i get the device failure when I reboot.

Can not remove Radeon 9700 PRO Control Panel - HELP

For some reason, nothing I do seems to work. I try the add/remove program in the control panel, and it shows that it is removing the latest Catalyst 3 control panel and I need to reboot. But when I reboot, it is still there! I tried deleting files and editing the registry, but nothing seems to work.

SO what you guys think? I thought the movie trailers were kinda cool, at least the ones I want to see. THe Bud commercials were horrible. The Office linebacker, or the Fedex one making fun of Cast Away were the funniest IMO.

My problem is this: the game itself will run, but whenever I try to go into battle, it crashes to the desktop. Can anyone give me some suggestions? Someone else posted about a problem with Interceptor a while back, but there were no replies, so I thought I might as well ask.

Resident Evil 2 on Windows XP

I can get the game to run an load games in WINXP its just that whenever I run it in windows 95 compatability mode the screen is very small and near impossible to play and I have tried every one of the display settings
