I have a sidewinder force feedback wheel (game port) that doesn't work undre windows XP. Someone can help me? what can i do? is there a driver, a patch or something to work it right? help me please. thanks in advance to all.

ISA audio card hangs boot process

I have a Crystal ISA audio card that I have tried in both ISA slots and it hangs the boot process. I believe I have used the card elsewhere and it worked, but I'm not sure. Do I assume it is bad? Computer boots fine without it.

I can't get my network connection to work for my 2 win 2k machines. I have a direct crossover connection between the two machines, both have the win2k operating system and the connnection worked previously before i got a new computer.

I'm running Win 2000 w/sp3 installed on a VIA KT133 MB. I have looked at the FAQ's which didn't help. I have read the manual which only confused the issue more. There are the V31. 40 program/driver, the WDM capture driver V1.

I followed APK's Speedup and security guide. But for some reason when i deny IP protocols besides 6 and 17 i can't get on the internet. As soon as i check allow all it is fine though. . . is there a list of protocols i can try to see what is not making my connection work.

Ok, I can't take it any more. . . . Almost every day I find myself answering all the BS problems with with ATI Radions. . . And, then it's not much better with Nvida and Gforce which may have better 3d drivers, but, can't give you a good 2d picture.

WHERE Windows XP store the autom. downloaded patches?

I would like to know if it's possible to backup the fixes/patches and updates that Windows XP donwload automatically from Microsoft, by this way when I do a new CLEAN intallation I could install all the updates at the same time and I would have not to wait until the SO completes all the downloads again.

I read on the compatibility list that The 7th Guest is compatible with 2000/XP, and I found a DirectX. exe for the game. I remember, though, that my primary compaint with the game ages ago was that the voice was too muffled.

Ok, fans of the original 7th Guest and 11th Hour: you MUST watch this! Anyone know more info about this title, such as a release date? It SOUNDS like The Fat Man is doing the score again! just the music from that site brings me back to yesteryear! Incredible score in those games!

Win2k 2000 Server; trouble with access by Terminal Client

Logging onto the Win2k Server locally shows applications running (like Norton AV) in the taskbar. Back to my workstation, I try to log onto the server again using the terminal client. Althou I´ve used the same name ans pass as locally, I am not able to see these given applications running.
