Easyphoto reader (scanner) drivers

glitchy
I have tried everything I can think of to install my easyphoto reader on my windows2000 system. From NT compatible I found links for drivers that are supposed to be compatible, I downloaded both the link and the update as well as changed my parellel port setting to EPP and it still is giving me a driver error.

AnthonyB
Symantec release updated defs EVERY DAY! Why bother reporting this? You may as well report that the sun came up every morning. . . Please, stop reporting this and stop wasting valuable front page space.

Magic Carpet 2 (game from the ice age), runs, but barely...

Mystiq
Contrary to the compatibility information listed on this site, it does run, though it's not exactly playable, at least on my computer. Sometimes it complains about not being able to copy level data onto the hard drive (I find copying the CD to your hard drive helps a lot in this case) and other times Windows hisses ...

Sherlock Holmes MOTM using XP

coreyb
I am having a problem playing this game on my new computer using XP. The computer crashes back to the desktop when I try to complete the puzzles. I was able to get a saved game to bypass one of the slider puzzles but now I'm trying to get the water/scale puzzle to work and get bounced back to the desktop each time.

A few queries for Dosfreak

Curley_Boy
This is one for Dosfreak. . . (But I'd love to hear from anyone else with expertise in this area) I've downloaded your NTGames spreadsheet, and from it's contents it seems you have managed to get some games working that I cannot even get to load.

xcopy - doesn't work properly

HELLBRINGER
I'm having a problem getting the xcopy command to work properly on a server that I am trying to backup. I created a MS-DOS batch file with the simple command xcopy e: y:\ /d /e /c /h /r /k /o /y. This should, theoretically, copy all data from drive E: to drive Y:, regardless of date, not overwriting files newer tha ...

New File System for Longhorn/Blackcomb?

Brian Frank
I was inquiring over at another message board about if MS has another file system in place to replace NTFS with sometime in the future. I heard that this might be in Longhorn and Blackcomb. I figured I should hit this place up to find out if that was the case or not or if it's not a sure thing.
