hi there I want to configure my windows 2000 advance server and XP to use two connections over the same machine but i cant do that. cry I have two modems, two lines and i hav checked in a number of OS crazy but only winXP solves that problem a bit.

Well I just have a few questions for linux. . . . is there a way i can share with another windows computer? I have RedHat 7. 2. . . also i see that lcounter-strike can be run on linux. . . i have the cd do i need a special cd? or what? Thanks.

Hi all, I just install a NAS server and is going to move all user files into it. The NAS is access via http:. Here my issue, I want to create a share for each users using the user1$ name so other users can't see the share names when they browse the server.

When i type a bad url in like , I don't want msn to search it for me, I don't want it to replace the url withj I want it to just say page not found, then I can add the extra 'o or something. Is there a way???.

i was using an alternative shell instead of explorer and 1 day i executed the standard windows xp shell , but the startmenu doesnt show the recently used apps at the left pane , only shows the pined apps ; and ofcource i´ve configured well the standard startmenu please feedbak me

internet dropping after 20mins

i got 3 pc on my lan, 2 have win98 and 1 is xp, the 2 98 pcs work fine and can be on net all day with no prob but the xp pc only gets about 20mins then its internet goes dead and i have to restart it to get back on.

I am trying to help a friend fix a slow boot problem in XP Home. She has a DSL modem connected to a network adapter. She has a dynamic IP address, where the modem acts as a DHCP server. She needs to run some sort of program to start her internet session.

Compact Flash Memory Cards... how to recover one?

Can you format it with the camera? I read an article somewhere that said you generally get the best performance out of the memory cards when they are formatted in the device they are going to be used in, rather than formatting them in a card reader.
