ok i have the following hardware setup AMD XP 1800 512 Mb DDR Ram ATI Radeon 7400 64Mb Graphics Card When i am playing C&C Generals it regularly crashes to the desktop with an error message saying sorry, a serious error occured or alternatively it reboots itself without any warning Please help!!! im using Version 1 ...

Screen Saver - Power Mgmt - Reboot - Help?

I need to configure a couple of workstations (Win2k - SP2) to reboot themselves after the screensaver has been active for more than 30 minutes. The screen saver is password protected. I need to log out the user, and return the computer to a usable state for the next user without administrative intevention.

product reviews in wmv/mov ???

I've noticed that a number of the product reviews that you're listing are in wmv/mov format. I for one find that product reviews in wmv/mov are a real waste of bandwidth. It's like someone doesn't want to take the time to do it right.

I have a highly customized W2K build. All functions are initiated by booting off of a floppy. I start it by using gdisk to prep the servers hard drive. . . reboot. I then boot either to the network or I load DOS mode CD drivers.

HardDisk running extremely slow!!!! HELP!!

My harddisk running extremely slow at the moment. Especially when i try to copy a 500MB file from one drive to another (I use Partion7 to partition into two drivers), it took something like 10 minutes.

small popup windows problem

Two days now a have a problem. When i open ie pages with popup message the popup message window is black. I notice that the most times the window contents is in java. I have allready try to install ie6 sp1-microsoft virtual machine-sp3(win 2000)-opera 7(has the same problem)-java virtual machine.

Win XP logon and disk access on 2k server domain very slow

We have several new XP pcs in the office, that log on to a win2k server (not pro) domain for our network. For some reason the log in and disk access from the new xp pcs but not the older 2kpro pcs can take up to several mins.

My power save is not working anymore and I'm not sure why. It worked about a week ago and for a long time now, then it just stopped power saving. I checked the properties for power save and it's set at 10 minutes it will turn off.

System locked up on me this morning out of the blue. Rebooted and now I am getting a message saying NTFS. sys is corrupt. Thought ok well just run the Windows XP Repair. Nope still getting a message saying the same thing during the reinstall.

i bought a hard drive about a year ago from tiger direct i think it was a seagate 60 gig it already has some bad sectors on it. but ive not had any real horrible problems with it yet ive decided to get another hard drive for more space and i probably wont get the same make as the one i have now for obvious reasons ...

Drivers install just fine. Have tried the latest and those that came on the CD. When attempting to run any resolution higher than 1024x768x256, I get artifact (ghosting of icons, any windows that are open) and occasionally screen tearing.
