The X-Files Game in XP????

Does anyone know how to get The X-Files Game to run under XP?? I recently got it, and it installs fine, plays the intro fine and the menus work fine, but when I try to start a new game, the first scene outside a building starts and the caption rolls in the corner like it should, then everything just hangs up there.

6 NT 4 domains, Want to replicate files. How?

I've got 6 NT 4 domains. None of them are trusted, but I can do that if need be. I'm wondering about the best method to do this, and if it could be done without third party tools. What I want to do is on a schedule, replicate files from one server to another, then fropm that to another etc.

I have a 15 TFT on my IBM Thinkpad A31 laptop running Windows XP and have noticed other than one dead pixel (which is fairly common I gather) a dark smudge which only appears when viewing light colours in the centre on the screen (in the shape of a dark line about 1cm wide and 5 cm in length).

Hey a friend of mine has a 15 CTX TFT monitor, recently the image on the screen has gone extremely dark (you can hardly see anything on the screen) in the monitor settings the contrast and brightness are turned up to full what could be the problem? the monitor is a CTX PV50 something not 100% sure of the model thanks

Problem using Winstall Lite to make .MSI packages.

Has anybody worked with the Winstall lite that comes on the Win2k Server CD? I get it to work for some applications but not others. It's weird because it is some of the more simple programs that are causing problems.

Whenever my computer comes off standby or hibernation my harddrive light stays lit and my system hangs for 20 or 30 seconds when I run something or just open a windows explorer window. I can't restart or reenter standby mode it'll just stop and the shutdown screen forever.

Ok, you ready for a strange one ? Windows XP, Internet Explorer, you find a nice jpeg you want to save, you click save (and let's say the name of the jpeg is 'Test'), so you click save & you get the message 'a file of that name already exists, do wish to replace it ?'.

KT133A + SB Audigy2 - What should I expect?

The motherboard in question is a Gigabyte 7ZXE (Socket A) with a KT133A chipset. I just ordered a Sound Blaster Audigy2 and am expecting it in a few days. I've heard that there were many issues (data corruption, instability, no POST) with the SB Live and Audigy1 cards when paired with KT133 motherboards.

Has anyone experienced problems with the new VIA 4 in 1 drivers (4. 45)? I have a SOYO mobo with VIA KT133A chipset. After installing the driver all is fine until. . . . . . . . . . . . I defrag the harddrive (with Diskeeper 7).
