Hi, I was just wondering how you can set disk defragmenter to automatically defragment all drives! for instance, I wish to set Disk Defragmenter to defragment all drives by itself, without me having to do it manually after each drive or partition has been defragmented.

ive always been able to clean install win2k/winXP betas using a bootdisk, then typing \i386\winnt. exe, but this doesnt seem to work with RC2, and i get the usual cant install in DOS error if i run setup.

I was just at the Microsoft site and was reading information, about upgrading NT 4. 0 too 2000. Is it advisable to do it this way or go for the clean install. Has anyone used this method, and had sucess.

I usually view folders and files in lists. And it can applies to all folder and I'm happy with it. With WinXp, I could be able to have more different views in folders, like in folder with pictures I can view them as thumbnails, filmstrips,etc, and I love that feature, it make those folders look better.

Anyone, I just upgraded a Win98SE PC to Win2k Professional. It was the upgrade for Win2k. 98 was a fresh install and when I selected the upgrade option, I did have it keep the programs installed intact.

I'm running windows 2000 on a celeron 500, with 64mb ram, 12gb hd, and a riva tnt 2, I was running on a FAT32 filesystem, and then I changed to NTFS, and windows started to crash, I changed again to FAT32 but win still crashes, the cause isn't the filesystem.
