Start menu problems

I know this is a minor problem, but it really tweaks the hell out of me. For some reason, I can no longer double click on a folder in the start menu, to open it in explorer. Nor can I right click and use open or explorer.

Dual Boot?

Hey, I've been running XP for quite some time and love it dearly. . . I just want to install ME to run some tests on both systems real quick. . . How can I install it? I've tried creating another partition on the end of my C drive and the beginning of my D drive, but neither work.

Ok, there is a way to set the memory dump file to either 64kb, Kernel or to none instead of having the default setting (currently sucking up like 256MB of my HD. . . 1) How safe is it to change this option? 2) What is the best option to choose? 3) What will happen if I delete the file? WinXP killed my user!

Hi. . I've got a BIG problem. Today I turned on my computer and everything seemd nice. . I enterd password for my account and then the trouble began. It took almost a minute until desktop apeard and the wierd pat was that it was something like it creatd a new user.

after upgrade, delete what?

after a successful upgrade to XP pro from NT 4. 0, what unnecessary stuff from NT can I get rid of? the entire Winnt40 directory? the i386 directory? win32 apps? side question: where do you find various programs like explorer and notepad to create desktop icons for launching?.

Upgraded to XP pro from WinME,how do I go about changing from fat32 to NTFS. Do I have to start over again or is there an easy way to do it without losing everything? Thanks.

RAM limits

I currently have 128mb PC100 on my PII400 Dell Dimension V400. I personally think 128mb is minimum recommended requirement for Reasonable Response, though i really think i need 256. I have three dimm slots, two free.
