Changing IRQs under W2K

Hi, I would really appreciate some help on this issue. See my hardware list below. Whenever I boot up the system, my audio card, graphics card and USB Host Controller (running my USB cable modem) are set to the same IRQ.

Proxy question

I can't access a file that requires the use of a proxy. How do I find out which proxy server to use? Go through the free proxy list one by one is inefficient. .

NTFS random freezing

OK, this is getting on my nerves. . . Fat32 works fine, no flaws. I converted to NTFS, and I started getting random freezes. Not just crashes though, the whole lockup, with the mouse unable to move. This happens completley out of the blue, it even happens when I'm just sitting on the desktop.

I am trying to get this pain in my butt infection off of my system. It just showed up just right after the MSBlast worm. But I download the Nimda infection remover from Symantec it scans through half of my hard drive and removes the infected files it find but then it just shuts off before it finishes scanning my D: ...

win xp pro auto shutdown

I have just installed win xp pro but my hard drive no longer shuts down automatically which it did with win millenium. The screen comes up with it is now safe to turn off your computer. This is a bit of a pain as I have to hold down the power button on the hard drive for about 30sec before it turns off x).

Webcam prob in XP Home

Hi, I have a problem with my webcam. I have XP home edition. I'm running VP-EYE which works fine, but when I plug my cam in, the system shuts down, everytime. The cam it's self is a CMOS 100K-R Rev. 1.

I used to know this. . and this may well be a repeat question. . . There is a folder somewhere on XP that will allow you to add more folders to the SEND TO section of the right click. . . you know right there along with My Documents, Mail Recieipent, Archive, 3½ Floppy.

The New RPC patch has KILLED my printing and Ras

Of course I installed the latest RPC patch for my nt 4 servers. 2 things have happened. Remote access(dial in) has crashed hard and no longer works. Also All printing has failed. (these are file and print servers, and the dialin for internet access from home.

AntiVirus /Spam filters for a Mail Server?

Hey all any one have any recommendations for Antivirus that can be used on a pop3/smtp mail server basically stop the viruses at the server as well as some form of spam prevention? i know have a mail server up and running and want to run it properly.
