luck our company agree switch NT4 to 2003. . before swtich to 2003 our got win98,ME and 95 with client PC,win 98,ME,95 can join doamin with win 2003? thank you.

Win 2k crashes whenever I try to load a program

I'm running 320 ram with Win 2k pro and had zero problems until my mobo died. At that point I brought it to the builder and he replaced my ancient P2 with an AMD Athalon and board from a computer of a friend who went into gaming and sought out horsepower.

A Note from One Who Has Nearly Lost His Mind!

Since installing SP2, my machine goes into periods of making a sound similar to a chimpanzee trying to tune a xylophone. I was advised to turn of automatic updates, which I have. Still that chimp is in there somewhere, swinging his frigging xylophone stick.

SBS 2003 with Exchange 2003

I just took over an existing company that had SBS 2003 with Exchange 2003. Well with the new management and company name came a new domain. Is there any way I can (1) change domains without loss of settings, users, etc.

dual boot

HI guys, Trying to get a dual boot pc going again. Win98 and winnt os. On starting the message Boot:cannot find ntldr appears. I can't go any further. Tried booting with WinNT CD and went into Repapir installation and says no previous installation of NT present.

email doesn't show pictures

When trying to view email that contains a picture all we get is a box with a little x in the upper left hand corner. This happens with email from lotus notes as well as email generated from the internet.

I'm having a really annoying problem. I can't seem to load programs such as Internet explorer, my comp etc. After installing sp2, when i click them, they don't load. Rarely, when i click the internet explorer quick launch or desktop icons, it will appear in 5 mins later.

i'm running on safe mode w/ networking. this afternoon after my gf turned off the sony vaio laptop, i turned it back on after 10min. . . . i type in the windows xp login password under her username and it acts like it's going to load for like 5 seconds.

Ok here we go i am having problems with SP2 when I click on the start bar such as my documents, my pictures etc. . . my computer acts as though it is shutting down like the start bar disappears then re appears and nothing happens.

Hey! Is the "CHOICE" batchfile command available in 2000/XP/2003?

It was removed in Win2k, XP does not have it either. It was put back in Windows Server 2003 though. I'm not sure what the reasoning was behind that. . . there is an MSKB article or info in the system help that describes an alternate way of doing that.
