This is more of a curiosity question. I've noticed that when an e-mail with attachments arrives from an external source, the e-mail's total size will be significantly larger than the combined total of the attachments.

K folks. . . . im having trouble with the USB ports on this triton motherboard. its like theyre not even connected. . . . . . . . anyone have a clue what im talkin about ? id imagine its a driver compatibilty problem but i figured someon on this site might have a better idea.

I am running Windows XP Pro and want to stop my sister who uses a Limited account from being able to access the control panel. I know this can be done by using the Group Policy Editor but it blocks it for me as well my sisters account.

I could use some help with a unique problem, I purchased a u3 usb flash driver. At work I placed shs documents on drive to view at home. Flash drive operates fine , but I cannot open shs(scrap) documents.

I am using a particular older program that dosen't play well with my Intel P4 3. 0 Hyperthreading machine running XP Pro (Spruce DVDMaestro). While this is really a hardware issue I believe, the question is really how to work around it using XP thus my selection of this forum.

I just had windows re-installed on my PC and whenever I connect a USB device it makes that Do-Dum sound but nothing else happens - it doesn't install my hardware. The only way it will work is if I enter device manager right click on the device (which has a question mark icon) and select Update Driver.

On win2003 (with all security updates) when I tried to use disk managemnt , I received this error message, Code:An internal error has occurred. Please restart the disk management snap-in I found here same problem:.

My PC has XP Home SP2. I have an XP Pro cd which is only service pack 1. Is there a way I can upgrade to Pro without affecting the files on my HDD. Also will there be collisions involving the fact one is SP2 and the other is SP1?.

Heres the story, I installed the Windows Vista Transformation pack and didn't like so uninstalled it. The uninstaller removed nothing of the pack so i was stuck with the windows vista look. After an hour of trying to fix this I decided to remove Service Pack 2 to see if tht would restore anything.
