Game Redraw rate Bad but FPS is ok?

Every game I have tried Max Payne, Emperor:Battle for Dune etc. . . . even the Aquarium Scrensaver looks like it`s jumping about (Well not quite jumping but you get the drift). In games the FPS is fine but the redraw rate is terrible.

Hi Everybody, Tried to run Paris-Dakar Rally on Windows XP with Geforce 2. No go! Tried Application Compatibility Toolkit 2. 0, didn't work! Tried both the actuall and 12. 41 drivers by nvidia.

FF7 + XP: Almost Perfect...

Final Fantasy VII works almost perfectly in WinXP, but it's still got some nagging problems. I did a maximum install (with the direct show stuff to run movies) and applied the TNT patch to get D3D working.

SVGA - VESA modes in DOS games

Hello people, I've just tested some DOS games under WINXP, sound and music is working (yay !) and the games are running fine in 320x200 but if I try running them in SVGA - VESA modes (640x480 or 800x600) the games go back to the desktop.

i read in the Games Compability list that MW3 could work if register was imported from 98 game installed in 98 to w2k or is ther any tool to use in w2k to make it work o can somone explain it to me in detail or submit a link how to do or a link to a some kind a compability tool im a newbi at these things

Howdy. . . . . i installed yesterday Winxp 2600 Pro,and tryit to play counter-strike everything was ok until i connected my ping was 90-800 i did always have 20-50. . . . . what can it be?? and my game crashes like 5-10 min when i´m playing it.

hi all i have a problem. In CS every second there is a stuttering and CS is unblayable. pure Halflife is ok. even if i don´t activate 3D hardware and play with software, the same problem. btw. emberor of dune crashes after about 1 - 30 min.

Half Life video issues under win2k

Hi everyone. I have a 3dfx Vodoo Banshee 16 MB video card. Half Life / half Life CS will ONLY work with Software drivers at 640x480. For some odd reason, it will not allow me to use OpenGL (using any resolution) or D3D.

Hello, I'm getting alot of Access Violation errors with Quake3, EverQuest, etc. I will be playing, and all of the sudden, it will cause an error and it will shut down. I look at the error message in Event Viewer and it will say it caused an Access Violation.
