Superbike 2001

Ok, I know Superbike 2001 isn't supposed to work in W2k, but mine did. Unfortunately, it no longer does. To get it to run I turned on Application Compatibility mode and set it to W98. (Only available after you install the Compatibility Update) The first two times I ran it, it loaded up and played just fine.

CPU or Nvidia choke up with all games.

Sys specs: abit Kt-7 RAID updated to latest bios Geforce2 GTS 32mb updated to latest drivers 1ghz Tbird 256mb RAM SBLive! installed with recommended XP drivers Whether or not this is an issue, I have ACPI going.

games going to fast

I have tried to play half-life but am unable to since, the game just speed right through. I dont know if it is Drivers or what. Other games such as DiabloII, Black and White and UT run perfectly fine.

Unhandled Exeption errors

Heres the deal I am running an AMD 500 With a 3dfx voodoo 3. I tried to install Tribes and I keep getting a Unhandled exeption error? I just want to get some advice on this matter. Is 2000 Professional a gaming OS or should I go back to 98 ? This isnt the only game I have had problems with either.

is there any way to increase my fps in quake3a i cannot get past 30 fps and when i walk around and deathmatch it goes to like 10-15 fps:O( on win98 i ran at like 70 fps ne one help? WinXP 320 Megs Ram Voodoo3

When the menu appears (after the intro movies) there is no cursor and there is big black borders at top and bottom of the screen. I can alt-tab out of the game. I have tried these reference drivers for the videocard: 07.

Shadow Warrior reminder

This is just a reminder to see if anyone yet has figured out how to get the sound to work for Shadow Warrior under windows 2000. Note that booting under DOS / win9x/me command prompt is NOT an option for me since all my partitions (drives) are fromatted as NTFS.

Wheel of Time problems

I'm trying to get Wheel of Time to run in WindowsXP. I had it running in an earlier version of Win2K, but at some point it became incompatible due to OS updates, drivers, etc. At this point the game will crash immediately when attempting to run the WOT.

NASCAR Heat Locks after qualify

I am running NASCAR HEAT under Win2k, I have the compatibility update installed all the latest drivers etc. . It locks up after qualifying, while it is loading for the rac. . . anyone have insight? Thanks DAve.

Ok, I have a clean install of W2k with service pack 2 and directX 8. I have installed that app compatibility pack and have the following problems: 1. NFS3 installed fine but I can only run at 800X600.

i have WinXP RC2 installed, while i was playing broodwars on battle. net, it will quit to the desktop automatically by itself for no reason. . Anyone have the same problem and know how to fix it? Thx, FatFish.

Red Faction demo

I can't seem to get the red afction demo running under XP. Whenever I start the demo it seems as if the computer freezes, then a little hd activity and then I am back at the desktop. Anybody out there got this thing running ? My conf is: AMD 1333 mHz Geforce 2 Ultra A7V.

Dronez problem

I'm having a problem running Dronez on my Win2K Athlon system. Basically, the Demo will run all day long with no problems, however if I start a new game the system will freeze (ie Windows will crash) after just a few minutes - I have to press reset & reboot.
