Trouble with Wofenstein Demo

Downloaded the new multiplayer demo of Return to Wolfenstein Castle, unfortunately it doesn't seem to be running for me under Win XP. I'm running the Win XP Pro final, and it seems OpenGL is to blame, so I figured I'd post here and see if anyone more knowledgeable about openGL could help.

my quake 3 arena full version just frezzes inside the game when i go to setup my players and options. . . IT JUST FREZZES so i can't move around i tried every version of q3a all the patches pisses me off btw here is my comp.

Anyone have any problems running the new half-life version in win2k? It keeps locking up for me when Im joining a game, then will baloon ta take up 130 megs of RAM or some such. .

Looks like even these guys beleived MS statement that Windows 2000 is for business and not for games, windows 2000 users don't need games. . blah blah blah. Now, VGS messagebox shows This program only runs under Windows 95/98/ME.

Black & White - WinXP / Geoforce 3 Startup Problem

Got a major problem when loading BW in XP, in that it goes up to the spinning Lionhead logo, and past that it freezes. Pops up with a blue error message with a conflict with the nv4_disp. dll and an infinity loop - now it is possible that it is actually a conflict with the Geoforce3 or the driver.

I installed SOF recently and when i run it there is a triangle box coming from the left of the screen with like 2 colors across the screen i can see through it and play the game its just annoying as hell, i tried up the game to the gold version 26 MB patch still get this error tho system- pII-400 3dfx voodoo3 320 M ...

Over on the Operation Flashpoint newsgroup, we started talking about games we liked. Well, quite a few seems to have liked this very old game, which I TOO had a blast with it years ago. I was now able to come by it (TOTAL OF ONLY 256K for an awesome game!!!), but it won't play in Win2k.

Quake 3: Arena Blue Screen?! (And Quake II)

I recently installed Service Pack 2 for Windows 2000 and when I launch Quake II or Quake IIIA, like 30 seconds into the game a blue screen appears really fast and my computer reboots! Whats the deal??? This did not happen before the SP2 installation.

Windows key got disabled in Everquest

When I am playing Everquest, I usually could exit out of it by pressing the Keyboard windows key or Alt-tab out. But after installing XP, it seems like the game locked the keyboard and wouldn't let me do any of those.

hmmm i think the rtm ver of winxp is still slower than winme in games, im using det 21. 8 drivers. in q3 the speed is same, but in dronez (also opengl) the average fps is bout 7 less than winme. in winme i got 55 but in xp i got 48 also when im playing hostile waters, in a large battle theres lots of slowdown in xp ...

I have this problem whit cs. . . . . when i try to play it everything works fine. . . . but my ping is always jumping 20-300 and i just installed Detonator 4 20. 81 and this still doesnt work how come my ping jumps like this everytime.

Using the 21. 81 drivers and when i goto properties to change the gamma and color to brighten or fix color in games it wont stay?? Like for instance i want to higher gamma so i can see better in CS.

hi, has anyone succesfully run High Heat 2002 on WinXP? after I install the game I click on the shortcut to start the game but nothing happens, no error message or anything, it's as if I didn't click on the shortcut at all.
