NFS Porsche Unleashed - XP Probs?

I've done a clean install of WinXP Pro on my system and have installed NFS Porsche Unleashed as well. The game ran perfectly under Win98SE and seems to be running just fine under XP as well save for one problem.

Wolfenstein Test + NT4

Well, as the title suggests, I'm running Wolfenstein test under NT4, but I'm having issues with sound. The problem is. . . . . no sound at all! I have a SBLive value LW3 isntalled. Sounds works great in everythign else, just not this game.

Anybody know how to fix this error in Windows Xp? Protected mode driver is not responding to EMS function calls. Make sure your EMS driver is not configured with the NOEMS option. If it is, replace the option NOEMS with RAM.

Mouse acceleration in games.

I've disabled it in the mouse settings in control panel but it feels like its still on in games, and it's very difficult to play online! Any help as to how to completely get rid of it greatly appreciated.

Can anyone get tropico to work under WinXP? I have a freind that is trying to install Tropico and it wont let him even install it we have tried the compatability modes and nothing. If anyone knows how he can get it installed it would be greatly appreciated.

gaming problem whit winxp

IΒ΄m not figuring this out. . . when iΒ΄m playing counter-strike the game crashes several times. . . . i always get the same error nvoglnt. dll i have tried every detonator versions. . . . 21. 85,21. 83,21,81 too i really need some help if someone can tell me what the problem is.

hm, since ive been hacking/tweaking my machine as much as i could, and im also curious as how to my machine compares to others id like to compare q3 fps in timedemo four. dm_66 in q3 1. 30. ive got 310 fps, and about 390 when i disable my fortissimo 2 in devicemanager.

Hi, I'm having *MAJOR* issues getting AC to run. This is without the expansion and with the fourth patch for the game. I can play for a few minutes, but sometime (it's highly variable) the whole thing freezes hard.
