Problem with Descent 2

I'm having this problem with Descent 2 whereby whenever I go to play regardless of what resolution I choose (I want to be able to play in 640x480 but the problem occurs on the other 2 as well) it always defaults to 320x240.

Where's my OpenGlide installation???

I used to play the game Alice fine with WinXP Professional. Then sunddently all my. dll files and openglide installation was gone ( )! I tried to re-install the openglide but I can't find anyone that works with NT.

Well, for months I've been going on and on about how Windows XP ain't nuttin special. . . . but something happened to me tonight that made me reconsider. . . Clutch told me one night that his Quake 3 timedemo benchmarks went out the roof once he switched to Windows XP.

i'm trying to follow the method on this site to get this game to run under win2kpro and can't find the file reffered to by step 6 where it says 6. Copy ImageCFG. exe and SetWin95. cmd from the NT 4. 0/NT5b2/Win2000b3RC1 CD to the nfshsdir directory.

DirectX 8. 1 is now available, but when going to Microsoft to download it says the file does not exist. I can get it for 9X/ME, but now 2000. .

Hidden and Dangerous - XPLOSIV!

Hi all, First post here! Can anyone tell me if it is possible to get the XPLOSIV version of Hidden and Dangerous running on Windows 2000? I can't seem to get it working properly. All is well until I choose my men and weapons, at which point it locks totally.

Win2k and Homeworld problem

Ok I have played Homeworld on win2k before and no problems. I also have been playing it fine until this one point in the game. I have defeated the fleet that destroyed my planet and the scaffold, which i think is the 2nd part of the great wastelands.

I have Voodoo 4, AGP, with latest XP drivers that were given at Windows update when I installed XP. I can not start a game of Half-Life Blue shift. I always get this error message: selected openGL mode is not supported by your video card.

windows xp and sidewinder problems

Help! I have a sidewinder force feedback joystick and am having trouble getting it to work in windows xp. When I try to auto detect it under game controllers it tells me your game controller is not configured properly see your device manager Thanks, any help is apreciated.

Max Payne, Voodoo 4 AGP

I have Voodoo 4, AGP, with latest XP drivers that were given at Windows update when I installed XP. I can get into game fine. Problem is the graphics are horrible. Nothing is clear except for the area directly surrounding my character.

I'm trying to use X-wing vs. Tie-Fighter under W2k. On this site it says that it should be possible with admin rights, but i can't start the game. When trying to launch the game the dialog for installing DirectX appears (i'm currently using DirectX 8).

Final Fantasy 8 and geforce2 no compremendo

The game runs fine, but the graphics are all garbled up. I have tried 21. 81 and 21. 83 but dont feel like going through the older drivers. Anyone else having problems? What board and what drivers?.

Mouseware - Input locking up

I'm having problems with sticky-keys when using Mouseware in XP. I'm using a Logitech Mouseman Dual Optical, and when I press all the buttons at the same time when I'm gaming one of the buttons lock up, got to release it and activate it again to free it up.
