XP vs 2k Game Performance

I wanted to know if you guys are getting pretty much the same performance in games with both OSes. List off some games, and tell me your RAM, CPU, Sound, and Video Card combination. How many of you get better performance in XP? Less performance? or Identical? I get worse.

Hi I'm new here,and I have problem. I don't have 640x480 mode on win xp + tnt2m64. detonators 21. 83, directx 8 anyone nows why? (besides tnt2m64 is piece of crap ;-) ).

Who wants to be a Millionaire 2nd Ed - XP

Any one had any luck getting 'Who wants to be a Millionaire 2nd Ed' to work under XP? Installs and loads the game but crashes the PC once you have entered your players name and it tries to load the rest of game.

Exit quake3: freeze

Most of the times I exit quake 3, the systems hardlocks, without even a bsod so I cant see whats causing it. It started in RC1 and is still there in RTM (2600 pro eval). I have a geforce 2 gladiac and have tested most of the latest drivers, including 14.

system hangs, Nvidia geforce 2mx,

my sytem hangs a few seconds into these games: half life, diablo 2, and max payne just put in Geforce Nvidia 2mx. Put in newest drivers from nvidia's web page. Game hangs a few seconds into game. Must reset computer to get out of it.

Have installed xp everythings running fine, but when i play q3 online i'm gettin mouse lag (delays in turning etc) i have a microsoft optical mouse, with the latest xp drivers,i have had to go back to winme for just now without any probs.

Anyone else having keyboard lag problems? It's not the frame rate or the drawing speed, the game seems really smooth and runs fast. It's just like a delay between when I push a key and get a response.

I have 3 computers 2 with Win ME the other has XP. the xp computer cant connect to the ME computers for games. If i host a game on XP the other computers can see the game but freeze whan i hit join. any ideas?.

The best performing dets are still 12. 90(dx) but in opengl 1080 kill every other driver, can you or can you not mix these two. .

Comanche4 and XP Problems

I just put Comanch4 on my XP Box. It works but runs really crappy. It is choppy and really hard to play. My system is an XP 1700+ with 512 2400 ddr and a radeon 8500. Latest drivers for the radeon, latestdrivers for my via chipset, latest updates for XP pro.
