Can anyone tell me, what's going on when I try to install Thief 2 for my Win2Pro. At first, when inserting the CD I receive a message saying something like 'Application or DLL:D\MSVBVM50. DLL is not applicable NT-' blah blah blah.

Hi, I have a few problems playing games on my Toshiba laptop (wing 2k) I tried playing Simon the sorcerer 2 in Win2k on my laptop. I successfully entered the game but it always crashes without reason in a minute when I start playing it.

Where have all the good "random" RPGs gone?

I have played rpgs suck as Baldurs gate 1 and 2 and Icewind Dale and others and all I have to say is that I sorely miss the randomness of the older RPGs. Random attacks, random treasure, freedom to deviate from the script The more newer RPGs I play the more depressed I get.

Hey everyone. Just bought Madden 2003. I installed the typical setup and tried to start the game. but after the EA Sports splash screen goes away and when RIGHT when the music begins i get kicked back into my desktop.

Hi all, i´m using win2k sp2 and amigamerlin 2. 5 correct installation. i got a voodoo3 3000 and my prob is since months, that in few games like comanche, motogp, ballerburg (dont know the english titel) i get nasty textures - in ballerburg there are NO textures.

For those that don't know, NeoRageX is a Neo Geo emulator for Windows. However it wouldn't run on Windows XP, well it does now, simply visit this page and download this It is a patched up NeoRageX with a full installer that will work under Windows XP.

Computer freezes when exiting wc3

I can enter warcraft 3, play as much as i want no problems at all. but when i try to exit the program my computer either freezes, or goes bluescreen after a while. when i enter the task manager i see that war3.

Win 2000 Pro And Half Life

Can anyone tell me why Half Life plays extra fast on W2k Pro? The graphics and sound are great. But when you run or shoot it is like you are running almost in fast fwd. Here are my specs. MSI ms-5169, K6-2 500, Aladin 5, Voodoo 5 5500 with last official w2k drivers, HL update 1110, W2k SP 3, DX 8.
