I am having trouble getting the SimTheme Park to start. We have Windows2000 Professional and it claims to of loaded fine and when we double click the icon to start the game the movie starts, but then blacks out and is gone.

It's just to say that i have installed Anno 1602 last week on my Win2000. . . And it works very well with the SP3 for Win2000. . . You don't need patch or fix for the game with the SP3. . . .

I dont know why but I feel like playing it again. . I'm running win2k english version there's 2 problem 1) No Sound 2) Everytime I'm in the main menu, a small mouse scroll will auto-close the game and prompt me back to desktop.

Gamers everywhere, I just read that the Quake 2: Evolved project is on hold, due to use of some leaked code. I just tried this mod over this past weekend, and it had some great potential. If you haven't had a chance to check this mod out, depending on the level of interest, I may have a temporary mirror up.

MAX PAYNE CHEAT PROBLEMS

To use Cheats In Max Payne, You apparently have to change the target for the desktop shortcut to this. . . . C:\Program Files\Max Payne\maxpayne. exe -developer But WindowsXP won't let me do it. It says the path and file name are not correct, which makes sense.

I'm running windows 2000, and I have tried everything I have seen on the internet (i think so anyway) to try and get this game to run. I tried a silkworm exe file, I tried team 17s beta 2 patch, I tried running it in a compatibility layer.

Screenshots turn out black

Simple as that. I'm playing Hidden & Dangerous deluxe and AvP GE and taking screenies a lot, but for some reason most of them turn out totally black and about 1. 44 kb (yes, kb)in size. I don't think it has anything to do with movement in the game, since the same thing happens also when I'm standing put.

Got a question. I have Windows XP and I need some games since the ones I have aren't compatible. I prefer strategy simulation games. The one thing I hate though is games that stutter when you move due to the overload of polygons.

can't connect to online games with Half-Life

Thanks Shakti for the info on the my half-life problem. I'm up and running. I am having problems connecting to the internet games. Any hints on patches or config problems for that? Do you need high speed? So what updates does one stay away from? New to XP.

Hey, I'm having problems running this (Dos-based) game under Win2k. I don't get any error message it just exits the game window within seconds of it starting. . Anyway, many of u prolly aren't familiar with the game, so details aside, dealing with the bigger problem.
