King's Quest VIII in Window's 2000?

Dear all, I bought King's Quest VIII and installed it under windows 2000. I cannot load any of my saved games. Every time I select the load command from the main menu, I am thrown back to Windows. Is there any workaround for this problem? Or is this something that just cannot be solved any way except through instal ...

How dya speed old games up..?

Hi i was wondering if anyone knew how to speed old games up. I have Need for speed 2 SE and it runs on XP (With Compatability) but at a very low frame rate. This is the same for some other games i have.

Civilization 2 problem

Can't manage to get Civilization 2 to play multiplayer on a WinXP and Win95 system. Both computers see eachother and can transfer files back and forth, and both play the Age of Empires 2 demo in multiplayer just fine.

DOS Emulator for Win2k?

Is there a DOS emulator that will run on Win2000 so that I can run some of my old DOS games. I understand that there may be sound sound incompatabilities. I have looked around, but all I could find were DOSEmu and FreeDOS, which seemed to be for Unix which wasn't useful.

Privateer 2 windows version

The windows version of Privateer 2 runs alright except it goes as fast as my computer can. When you're landed on the planet it's fine because you get to go through the menus real quick but while in space it's so out of control that there is no way in hell that you can shoot anything because the game is running so fast.

I know this must sound strange i only resently brought a trible startrek package deal. one game is hidden evil. im on mission 8 on board the enterprise trying to activate the war core chamber how do u get by the big bees what get in the way.

hi, i'm having some problems with 'indiana jones and the fate of atlantis', i have winxp and every time i try to start that dos game, as i double click the icon i am told that it's unable to initialize sound driver and the game doesnt start.

ff7 need help with laptop

i installed ff7 on my laptop, i also installed the xp patch and ff7input patch it did work,however when i get to the part where i pick my charictars name the config goes back to normal i have managed to get the curser to the select option using the function button but i cant select it Pleez help
