Mech Warrior 4: Vengence wont install

When I try to install it fully it stops at 90% and tells me it cant copy a level file or something like that. It does work when its installed at minimal but then when it goes to load a mission it doesnt work.

I'm having troble with starship titanic. When auto run opens the game and I click install it starts loading and then closes and starts the beggining part again. Do I need a patch?.

Windows 2000 professional + Mortal Kombat Trilogy = crash ?

I would be very happy, if someone could help me with this. I can't play mortal kombat trilogy in Windows 2000 Why? because when i get to choose the character, it crashes. I already heard that. . . there is and there isn't a solution.

this is an old dos game by interplay. does anyone know how to get it to run? there's a report of it being compatible but no details on how to get it to run. ive tried tweaking with the properties under the executable but no luck.

appcompat won't go away !!

After viewing several postings on this website to try to solve my appcompat. txt problem, I have learned how to delete it. However, even after a disk cleanup, defrag, and cold restart, the same error message pops up anytime I try to play any of my games.

Windows XP and Yamaha CRW2200, won't detect

I loaded WindowsXP on my machine and it will not detect my Yamaha CRW. If I only attached my CD-ROM XP will see it and it will work. As soon as I add on my Yamaha CRW, XP does't see any CD drives. I have tried using ONLY the Yamaha, but that doesn't work either.

Hello, i'm new here if you haven't noticed. I have a problem. Or major problem to me, I cannot get my GLQuake to run under windowsXP. It starts up, the console comes up (which takes about 30 seconds) and it gets about.

I just purchased a copy of warhammer 40k chaos gate and after installing it the menu comes up to play it, and when I click on play the menu closes but nothing else happens what should I do? ;(

Has anyone gotten the Livin Large expansion pack to work in Windows 2000? I downloaded the install fix patch from the Sims website, and that didn't work. I also downloaded the compatibility program from this website to try to make Livin Large run as Windows 98, and that didn't work either.

Has anyone been able to get the entire program to work under XP? I thought of copying all data from both CD's and changing the path on the config file in the game and trying to have the program point to the HD instead of the CD.

Pod Racer not liking sound file changes, any ideas?

I've tried altering (silencing via sound recorder in accessories) 2 wav sound files (a very common looping sound file that is rather uncessessary sound-cue wise) so that I could play with windows media player playing music in the background, while still hearing the rest of the games audio.

Hey, can anybody help me?? I have just purchased a used copy of C&C and installed it but all I get when I try and run it is a black screen which shuts off back to the desktop when I hit escape. I also put in the patch but that doesnt help.
