After installing the game under windows 2000, i can't start the game. The following error appears on my screen: The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000142). Click on OK to terminate the application.

ok i have mcm2, i ve installed the game perfectly and when i tried to open it the screen turns black and then it returns to desktop. i have windows 2000.

I am using Win XP Pro, Radeon Card, and audigy SB card. I have installed this game however every time it gets through the intro it suddenly hangs. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks. .

If you are having problems with your LAN by connecting to other computers without connecting to the lobby this is what you have to do: Solution: Every computer that will be playing NFSU2 has to have the same default gateway and subnet mask (in windows).

HELP!! AIM-9 S ARE NOT WORKING ON MY JANE'S USAF SIM

I INSTALLED JANE'S USAF ON A WIN XP PRO MACHINE AND EVERTHING WORKED FINE EXCEPT FOR THE DROP DOWN MENUES AND AIM-9 MISSILES. DROP DOWN MENUE PROBLEM AS FAR AS I KNOW IS A COMMON ONE BUT AIM-9 (INFRARED SEAKER GUIDED) MISSILES NOT GUIDING TO THE TARGET JUST BAFFLED ME SINCE NO ONE SEEMS TO HAVE ENCOUNTERED IT.

i ve installed the game succesfully and cracked, then when i ve tried to open it, the screen turns black and returns to the desktop. what should i do? (windows 2000) (NVIDIA GeForce2 MX/MX 400).

Hey guys, Just wondering if you had a solution to this nasty problem. Silver works perfectly fine on win98 but not on XP, I used the compatibility options to try to emulate the conditions but nothing happens.

When trying to create a lan game with more than 2 players i am unable to get into the lobby, it just sits there. . . I saw questions about patches or possible work arounds for other issues. Does anyone have any ideas on this? ;( ;( ;(.

NHL 2001 won't run in 1280x1024

NHL 2001 won't run in 1280x1024 (the menu won't display it, only up to 1024x768) when I'm using my ATI HDTV adaptor. NHL 2004 runs fine at this resolution using the adaptor, as does NHL 2001 without the adaptor on my normal monitor.

For those that don't know, there likely will be no System Shock 3. More on that can be found. Fear not, though, SS2 will have a spiritual successor made by the same creators as SS2 (Irrational Games) called BioShock.

help me!! wen i go to install might and magic 8 on me comp, the install shield gauge comes up and then it goes to 99%. At this point a cross will come up and it will disappear. I use another comp and it works fine.

Does GeForce 3 really work fine? is it laggy? I am considering buying it so I can get the game. . I have all the other requirements. also, I supposedly got a computer with 512RAM. . tried to load a game, and it told me I only had 503.

Problem with NFSU 2

I am running XP Pro SP2, whenever I try to run NFSU 2, windows gives me a termination error right before the game eve starts. I believe the problem is with DirectX 9. 0c, for some reason, when I try to install it, it says its already been installed even though the version I have is 9.

Half Life 2/ Counter Strike Source Installation Problem...

When I try to install half life 2/counter strike source it starts up the installation. It installs up to disc 4 and then it comes to a file called. Counter Strike Source Shared. gcf and then it stalls.

i just bought medal of honor paciffic assault for the pc the other day. i went to go play online but in order to do that you must register your game. while registering my cd-key for my game, a message box comes up and says cd code is already in use.

i'm trying to run MM6 and for the life of me i can't get it to work. i've tried the compatibiltiy settings and i get absolutely nothing. everytime i go to run the game i get an error message and the game crashes.

hey, i am borowing sims deluxe from a friend. i can install is perfectly fine, but it cuts out when the opening credits are over. si i can only get as far as the Blue box with the title and the white writing running along at the bottom of the screen.
