Hi I just read that you got a way of making machines work with windows xp. Damn, I have been trying for months to do it without success. I did not know so many people loved that game! Could you help me please? When I try to run the game I get the error: machines.

Mechwarrior 3 won't install in XP - HELP!

I have Mech 3 and cannot get it to install on my new XP pro machine. It may be related to the sysinfo. exe file on the Mech CD - that file fials to execute and I get a blank failure icon before the install shuts down.

EDIT - Resident Evil 3 now works fine under Windows XP. I didn't have to make any changes at all. My guess would be that there was a SBLive/XP conflict somewhere. All hail nForce2 onboard Audio! If you are still having problems see.

Mechwarrior 3 pirates moon

Loaded the game mechwarrior 3 pirates moon but can't get robot to move on a sidewinder joystick. A techo from actvision once had me delete a file in pirates moon and replace it with one from mechwarrior three but i can't remember which file.

The topic is not all that new but all the posts are rather old. I've got a patch for dx and the game runs ok but when I come to solve a puzzle I only get to see part of it. In the first one, I only see the shelf I have to put the books on but I see no books.

I need help on getting DESCENT to work. I donloaded the Opengl version of Descent at PlanetDescent. com, and The port does not work, because I get this error when I try to run it: Not enough strings in text file - expecting 621, found 514.

I have FCE Ultra NES emulator. I have a Saitek P220 controller. It is not working for some reason. I've tried configuring it but the UP and DOWN will not work. Thanks in advance for the help!.

2 of my favorite games do not run, or run poorly in windows 2000, but I like windows 2000 so much I want to know if you all can help me get these games running properly. Motoracer This runs fine, however I can not enable direc3d in the game, I immediately freeze.

I am trying to install championship manager 2 96/97 on to my laptop which runs win xp pro. i can install, but clicking on the go or msdos intro icons results in the introduction starting, and then at the end ( or before if you click a button) it just goes back to windows.

I didn't read the whole forum yet, so excuse me if the question has already been answered. . . I still play some old DOS games in a DOS window such as Prince of Persia or Gender War. These games work fine with Win98.

I did what people recommended in setting the audio acceleration to none for Interstate '76, but now when I activate the game and try to play Trip or Melee, and I have disc 2 in, it says, please insert disc 2.

Ok ive seen the one on prince of persia 2 but i have the same problem and i tryed all the things from the prince of persia 2 trhead. This is what happens, i start up the game but b4 anything comes up it says the game ended unexpectdly.
