I just recently found this game again, and would really like to play it. I am running Windows XP It installed fine, and everything seemed to work. Whenever I try to run the game, I get the error encountered, this program needs to close.

can anyone please help me?? i finaly come a cross this game for pc. i instaled the game and try to play the problem is. after a short perriod of loading iam asked to isert disk one- i do so and gett a warning-(wrong disk) i hawe tryed all of the other disks and the same happens?? i hawe a pentium 4 1.

I have updated the game to version 1. 2 and also applied the unofficial win2kpatch. During game play, though, when every I use the directional keys to move the Hero, he maintains that direction for an extended period of time.

Dark Forces under WinXP - No Sound

Call me nastalgic. I pulled this one out of mothballs to give it a whirl. My system includes a SB Live Value Digital (4. 1 speaker output). However, I'm unable to configure the sound to work correctly.

Hello - I'm having trouble running SW:Galactic Battlegrounds under Win2k, SP4. When I start the game, I get through the intro, and get to the opening menu. When I try to play, I get Please insert a game disk in the CD drive.

No MS Sidewinder Force Feedback Wheel

Has anyone got the MS Sidewinder FF wheel to work as it should in Windows 2000 ? ? All I get is a plain wheel in the game controllers panel. It shows as a FF Wheel but no force. .

Hi, I am playing EA's C&C Generals. I keep getting these deadly crashes where it just froze up the entire computer and nothing i can do to jump back to XP. So, i will have to restart my computer. These crashes happens randomly during the game.

hi, i signed up 2 this site because i've been having problems installing one the origional Freespace game, Freespace: The Great War on Windows XP. Whenever i try 2 run the installer, a message pops up saying: C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.
