:x I just recently got starcraft and i've been attempting to install it all afternoon but it just says Windows cannot open this file. Is there a program I need to have prior to installing it??.

Thief - The Dark Project crashes to desktop...

I bought Sold-Out Value Pack DVD version of the Thief I – The Dark Project & Thief II – The Metal Age. After both games successful installation I’ve started to test the games how they work or if they work at all… The Thief I launched and played perfectly, found not a single problem with it.

Final Fantasy VII Won't install in XP SP2

I tried every compatibility mode but it won't even run. I check task manager and I know it's running. It's under wowexec. exe which is the 16 bit something something in XP and I see ff7inst. exe under that.

Hello everyone! I am looking help, to make Might and Magic work in windows Xp pro. What shall I do? The game is installing, everyting it´s fine, but when I try to enter in the game, I receive the well known message with 2 options ¨Tell Microsoft about this problem¨ and ¨Don´t tell¨.

Installing Sims 2

I have been trying to install Sims 2 and I am having no luck. I have been to a few sites trying to get help with it and have tried all the solutions offered so far. I have only been able to get to abot 75% using the disk method and the renaming and copying to folders method.

Sims 2 Freezing Up

Every time I put the Sims 2 DVD/CD into my DVD-Rom it starts up fine until I go to get into a neighbor hood, then it just freezes up. . . I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling but it doesn't work.

My first problem is sort of solved. I'm running XP SP2, and Warcraft II loaded up just fine. I went to single player and it didn't detect my CD (I have an official CD), so I used a no cd crack to get around it.

;( I`ve installed the game twice, patched it, even tried the odd no cd crack or two ,but nothing works the exe just will not start the game, the splash comes up my cd drive wirrs then nothing happens.

Installing/playing Red Alert 95

I have been having several problems with installing/playing red alert on my computer running windows XP SP2. Firstly, no matter how hard I try I cannot get the normal win95 setup. exe, even running in compatibility mode.

I just bought FFXI today. I went to install it but everytime I put it into my cd rom drive nothing happens. I went to my computer and went to manually install but there is nothing in the cd rom drive folder it is blank! Ive been trying for a few days now to get FF7 to run on Win2k, ive got Sp2, and DosFreaks XP AppCompat tool Beta2 and if i try to access the menu, or finish a fight, it freezes, if anyone has a fix for this i would love some help, thanks
