It's been reported here that Nascar 3 works under Win2000, and it seems to except it will not recognize my Microsoft Precision Pro JoyStick. Although calibrated properly under the OS, it will not do so under the game?.

Only 60Hz refresh rate in games

I recently installed Win2k RC1. I have a TNT2 card with working DirectX and OpenGL drivers. But it seems that even if I set the desktop to f. e. 85Hz, alll games run at 60Hz. Is this a known problem? Per.

tnt2 ultra and halflife

i'm running a guillimot tnt2 ultra with the 3. 78 drivers and the latest bios and when you make a turn in halflife the screen jitters a bit which gets quite annoying. running win2k on a be6 with 128 mb ram.

Launching F4 ibeta2 patch or the original one will bring out error message: There is no cd in drive |calcel|continue|ignore| what ever I choose the game starts. But when the game ends it crashes back to w2k.

I was getting the This program only runs under Win 9x error when I went to install under W2K Pro. As fate would have it, as soon as I found the fix for this on I immediately ran the installation, but I suddenly got an application error, and I haven't been able to get the old error ever since.

Hi guys! Does anyone have the same problems running games on win2k and get this blue screen MACHINE_CHECK_EXCEPTION. Everyone of my applications work fine, but games always give med the BSOD at a random time.

Workaround for Roller Coaster Tycoon

hey guys, I found a workaround for the load and crash issue on Roller Coaster Tycoon. install and run the game, once you save your game, quit and then go to the roller coaster tycoon save directory, once your there shift + right click, then open with, hit other application, look for rct.

Rally Championship w/ Voodoo 3 3500

I was wondering if anyone has experienced any problems with Rally Championship and Windows 2000. I have a Voodoo3 3500 and I can see the first video, hear the sound on the next two, then it just quits responding.

Whats the deal with direct x 7. 0? Can you not install it in windows 2000? When I try to install it it tells me that it doesnt work with my version of windows. Is there another version somewhere else that I can get?.

Q3 video problems on Annihilator Pro

No matter which video driver I use (nVidia or Creative) Q3 is VERY, VERY dark. Murky. It runs fine but looks bad. Any ideas on how to get it running normally? Thanks.

no wheel under q3?

I have a little problem, with mouse wheel under quake 3 arena. Onetime it just stopped to work (under q3 wheel changed my weapon). Mouse is Logitech Wheel mouse + drivers fow w2k ver. 9. 0 with best regards!.

Voodoo2 and EA Sports games???

I've installed the voodoo 2 drivers but they dont seem to work with the EA sports games. When I go to the 3d setup in the game it does not detect it. Has anyone been able to figure out how to fix this? The drivers work fine with my other games, just the EA Sports games seem to have problems.

Has anyone been able to run Fifa 2000 under Windows 2000 Pro Final. I have tried it but i get a not valid Win32 application notice each time i execute the game. then of course nothing happens. Is there anyway at all for this game to work under Win 2000? Thank you.

anyone signed up the Diablo II beta yet? says they don't support W2K during beta test, but will for final version I signed up anyway of course, I wonder if there's any good reason for them not supporting it?
