I am experiencing game flicker in my games. I have tried all that I can think of. I think that I might be missing something in the bios since I just put in a 256mb chip. I have the directx8a drivers and the latest geforce2 drivers.

Okay. . . here is the deal I have a Win95 version of Transport Tycoon DeLuxe, which works fine in Windows 95 and Windows 98. Since this is the ONLY program i haven't gotten to work in Windows 2000 so far, i thought i'd try getting it to work.

Hi, System Spec: PIII 450 128 RAM Geforce 2 MX VIA 2X AGP Windows 2000 Everytime I try to run NHL 2001, it crashes back to the desktop while loading the game. Similar sort of stuff with Fifa 2001 Demo.

I got win 2000 and i have problem with games and in every game there is a same story. The game runs great, even better than before on win 98. But suddenly my computer restarts. Just like that. No warning at all.

running win2k ser pack 1 getting weird crashes when someone leaves a game. . . net get packet errors and wsae connectreset error messages didnt get this problem on 98 running a cable modem also sometimes when i join a game i get this i reconnect and i get in any ideas? the game doesnt crash just loses the connectio ...

This may be old hat, but i noticed that some games would launch in a small square inside of a black square on my monitor using the 1. 04 drivers. I tried with dx7 and then updated to dx8 and both had trouble.

Help with FF8 under Win2k

Anyone get FF8 for PC working under Win2k? My copy installs fine, and runs the beginning of the game fine, but it crashes every time when i get to the center of the market square in that first town you have to attack (real early on Disc 1).

I was wondering what type of preformce people are getting through win2k. With my configuration i only get between 12-18 fps, when i action gets bad i get like 6 fps at full detail at 640x480x16. I was wondering what win98/me get.

Mechwarrior 4 pausing a lot, sound probs in Everquest

When I try to play Mechwarrior 4 (and it is MS's own game too!), no matter how low I set the detail, it pauses a lot! This makes it hell to complete missions as you can berly aim at the enemy. Any ideas? Also, I have a lot of loss of sound in Everquest.

Why does Win2000 always put games at 60Mhz refresh rate?

Ok, First off love Windows 2000, but the thing I hate is that all my games now only play at 60mhz refresh rate, which is really bad for the eyes. I have tried the NVmax thing, but that only gets it up to 75mhz, how can I get it up to 85mhz like windows 95, 98 and ME do? And why does windows 2000 do this in the firs ...

Win2K problems with MW4 and HL

Alright here is the problem. In both Half-Life, Counter Strike, (OpenGL mode) and MW4 (D3D req. DX8) I get lockups. . . . semi random, usually within 30 min. Now this is with my GeForce DDR, now when I put in my GeForce2 MX they run perfectly fine which is whats weird.

well, it's an older game, so i've been searching for it for a bit. and I just found it, but when I try to play it under win2k professional it runs smooth and all, but I'll be shooting or jumping, and it's like the mouse button sticks.
