UT and Intellipoint mousedrivers

When I made a bat file for UT(unrealtournament), I had 20 fps more, then without the file. I've got a Intellimouse explorer and I have to install the drivers, if I wanted to use the the side buttons.

halflife/tfc runs good but very dark

i got everything to run great on win2000 and it is the best op sys i have used yet. the only problem so far is hl/teamfortress classic is very dark even with the monitor brightness and contrast all the way up.

Playing Shortcutted Games in High Priority?

I gain about 5-10% performance when I play Quake 3 in High priority. . . so my question is this. . . how do I automatically set Quake 3: Rocket Arena and Quake3: Team Arena to run in high priority? I have to launch them from Windows using shortcuts like: C:\Program Files\Quake III Arena\quake3.

NHL 2001 DirectX Error...please help

I've recently upgraded to DirectX 8 then 8a, and since then, I've been no longer been able to play NHL 2001. . . The error I get is You do not have DirectX 7. Please install DirectX 7. Could not load (null) Any ideas on how to fix? I'd really like to play this game.

RA2 on NT 4.0

Can anyone tell me whether or not Command and Conquor Red Alert 2 works on NT 4. 0? I can't get the origional RA to work on it, and I've heard that as long as you have 3. 0 or better RA2 will work. But I don't want to invest in it before I find out.

flashing textures in MW4 under W2k

hi guys tis the first time i'm posting here i have a problem with MW4 under W2k. any driver newer than 6. 47 gives me flashing textures. i've set vsync on and off to no avail. i've left everything to default setting otherwise Also with anything newer than 6.

Xwing Vs Tie Fighter

Hi Having problems with Xvt on Win2K. Found somewhere that you need to run z_XVT__. exe instead of the normal XWINGTIE. exe. When I do so, I get a black screen, then the mouse cursor flashes in the upper left corner for a split-second, and then 2 seconds later, I'm back at the desktop.

I was trying this game under Win2K but the sound is really really bugged. . . when a sound occured, it is repeated. . . not exactly like an echo. . . it's like u play a wav in repeat mode with media player.

Ok, its pretty much agreed upon that the SB Live! has some problems. And I have read that the EAX in W2K is not hardware accelerated either. So what IS the 3D card to get now? The TB Santa Cruz? The Diamond MX400?????? Which one really works well in W2K, with the damn ACPI IRQ sharing, and has hardware accelerated ...

Help w 16bit Install on NT4.0

Apologies for asking such a dated question. I am attempting to install Baldur's Gate 1 on a WinNT 4. 0 (6a) machine. I saw that it was listed as being compatible on NTcompatible. com's list. Attempting to run the install from either the game's launcher or using the setup.

Massive prob with new card

I have a gf2 mx and I've used drivers 6. 34, 6. 47, & 7. 17 and I still get flickering in my games. Vsync is off and so is antialias, does anyone know how to fix this problem? I also have another problem with my tv-out,whenever I use the refresh rate fix, it screws out my config and I can't use my tv-out anymore.
