Trouble with PCI and win2k?

OK, i just installed a clean win2k install and had to do that with out any PCI card inserted on my mobo, just my GF AGP card. Install worked superb and i updated win2k with windows update. But when i insert one PCI card onto my mobo, win2k want start anymore, it locks at startup.

I read on this page that ATI TV WONDER PCI works in Windows 2000 with some litlle hacks but there are no detailed instructions how to do that. . . . I would be very happy if someone could help me? Borut borut.

Anybody has reference drivers for this video card? It's useless in win2000 with microsft drivers, and company who produces this card doesn't seam to care to realse it's own drivers. .

Please can anyone tell me where i can find a driver for an ESS ES56T-PI Data fax Voice Modem. I have been to the ESS website and linked to their FTP site where it said they had Win2k drivers but they dont work.

Poor GeForce performance

Hi, I have a 32Mb ASUS GeForce, ASUS P5AB super 7 board, 64Mb SDRAM with a Cyrix MII P300 CPU. I run Windows 2000 Professional and Windows 98, but I prefer 2000. I find games like NFS5 Porche run very slow even at 640x480.

I have a geforce that seems to share with the onboard nic and crash it about every 7 seconds. . tyans at a loss creative says move the irq ami says huh? and tweakbios barely recognizes anything in the system suggestions?.

I got the new BETA driver from ACER for the scanner, but it doesn't seem to install any EEPSCSI driver as it should. Do you get one installed? What is it called in the System - Hardware screen? Any version on it?.

Where are my refresh rate of 85 Hz in games like Quake 3 and UT gone??? I have now 2 Monitors: Standard TV and my normal PC monitor. I can't deinstall the TV, cause it comes back after next rebooting.

This Tv card works fine under NT4 and 98se, but can not get it to work under 2k, It uses at bt829 chipset. Anyone have any ideas? I have tried the 98 and the nt 4 drivers, nogo. .

I called Logitech today to find out when Win2k drivers would be out for my Quickcam. They told me that drivers for the quickcam are suppose to be out next week, but WONT support the Quickcam VC. I am pissed.

HIayy!. . . anyone know anything abt compability for Scanners under win2k. I´ve got an HP 3200C ScanJet. All I can find on HP:s website is that drivers will come ??? Can this be something that gets solved when the SP1 is released? /bucky.

i'm thinking about this Europe on Line program for internet with satellite and i need a good DVBS card that will work in win2k. Any suggestions? (Pentamedia has drivers but 1. bad reputation 2. drivers don't allow TV!).

Best MX400 Drivers?

I just got a Diamond MX400, which drivers should I use? The S3/Diamond site only has Win 9x and Win NT drivers for download, but they say that the MX400 has WIn2k drivers. I aslo checked out ESS's site ( ) but I don't know which drivers are for the chip the MX400 is based on, or if I should even use ESS's drivers.

Pauses

I am having some wierd pauses in various games (starlancer, Tachyon: the fringe, thief 2 demo). The game will (at random points) just stop for several seconds. The last frame that was on screen remains there, and the last sound heard repeats several times.
