Actually it's Friday morning in Singapore. It will most likely be posted on the Singapore server before the Americas one. It will most likely be posted during the evening or middle of the night (for us in the Western Hemisphere) or early morning for those in Europe.

I installed Professional on my machine and keep getting a (VID_04E6 PID_80000004) as an unknown device in Control Panel. I can only boot in VGA mode with the Elsa drivers. i Removed the card and installed an ATI Rage card and it booted and took the drivers fine but it installed the (VID_04E6 PID_80000004) again.

Memory Errors Win2000

Application errors saying The instruction at 0x007a91f6 referenced memory at 0x00000069. The memory could not be read. click ok to terminate click cancel to debug I thought it was my memory and sent in for replacement 256MB chip.

I have run Voodoo cards forever and have never had trouble with any game or O/S and have been totally satisfied with 3dfx fixes,patches, and driver updates. They are on top of everything. I want to buy a GeForce2 card now because everyone says how wonderful they are.

hi. . . just installed 7600 driver & software as per the guide on here. in the systray i see it attemptng to connect & then it fails any help would be great i really need to get this scanner working.

VDMSound -- does it work?

I tried VDMSound (see NT Compatible front page) but it doesn't work on my PC. I tried a couple of games that are listed on the compatibility page (KQ4 and Willy Beamish) as working and they locked up (though Windows kept going).

Voodoo and Geforce in the same system?

Is there anyone successfully using a Voodoo 2 card and a Geforce card in the same box under W2K? I was thinking if I could get my hands on a Voodoo 2 card I could play Diablo II and some other games under W2K.

Well, looks like tyan was in a hurry, coz the tyan tiger 133 REV E is called back and needs to be replaced by REV F. No wonder i could not make my geforce work with the PCI bus, the 3 agp transistors are sending wrong values which makes big time problems with the AGP bus.

Hello, i've a problem with my TNT card under win2k. I've tested the default driver, the latest detonnator. . . but in the properties of the card i've This device can't start. (Code 10) With win98 no problem, with nt this.

The drivers have been received from MS. At this point, it looks like they may be posted some time next week (probably towards the end of the week). This is kind of lousy timing since we are going into a 4 day holiday weekend and won't be back until the middle of the week, but the light is at the end of the tunnel.

Geforce2 Memory Dump

I have an Elsa Gladica Geforce2 GTS and after playing for a bit in W2K I sometimes get a blue screen saying Memory Dump and then my computer shuts down. Does know what causes this. Athlon 700 - FIC motherboard Aureal Sq2500 Sound 160MB Ram.

What is it with lack of SCSI devices?

I'm the proud owner of a Pioneer 32x/6x SCSI DVD ROM drive. A friend of mine is looking for a similar drive, he too likes the slot-loading variety. A quick check on Pioneer's web site shows that my model has been replaced twice, first with a unit running at 10x DVD and now the latest version running at 16x DVD.
