wintv remote and win2k... doesn't fully work

I just purchased a wintv w/ remote. i am fairly pleased with it. except that the remote control program does not start or stop the wintv software like it is supposed to do. the same goes for the radio program (but i really don't care for that).

Does anyone have any experience getting one of these to work? I have tried drivers of a few other cards as well as some generic ones from somewhere but they don't seem to work. I'm not remotely interested in video capture I just want to watch TV 🙂.

I am looking for a cheap PCI Video card that is fully win2k compatable. 3d capabilities are not neccisary but it must be good 2d up to 1024 x 768 @ 85 hz. Any sugestions? I am putting this in my Dell so i can run dual monitors.

I have a DVD-drive in an IDE-USB case and want to connect it to a w2k machine but there only came win98 and DOS (?!?) drivers with it. Are there any generic IDE-to-USB drivers for w2k out there? TIA!.

Having problems getting my G400 32 meg agp to do AGP 2x in W

I have a celeron 300a@ 464 running on a Abit BH6 Rev 1. 01 with latest bios, 192 megs of pc100 and a Matrox G400 32 meg agp. If i run the card in agp2x after a little while I will get lockups or screen corruption.

Video problem with Win2k

Does anyone know if Windows 2000 will work with the VIA MVP3 Chipset? Because I get the problem where the VIA tech CPU is conflicting with the AGP controller. And when I go to update the drivers through the setup way, and by clicking on update driver on the VIA CPU tech, the conflict will go away.

Ugh, this is frustrating. I came from an Asus P2B (440BX) with a P2 333mhz system that *never* crashed. I got a 98 crash every once in a while, but 2000 never crashed. I also used a Voodoo3 in it. I'm not used to tweaking my card as much as I have to now.
