Looking for mouse

I am interested in buying an MS IntelliMouse w/ Intelli Eye USB (not the optical or explorer model cause they are to clunky) The problem is all I can find on the web is the optical and the explorer model or if I find the normal one it is out of stock.

Glide wrappers in WIN2K

what is the stablest and best Glide wrapper to use in win2k? I have a very common setup of Intel chipset and nvidia graphics card (Asus BX + geforce2) Mostly using reference drivers. . I wanto play Rollcage Stage 2 in Windows 2000/Whistler but D3D don't work, however Glide rendering DOES work on voodoo cards at least!.

The problem is that there is no sound if I use the 4 point sourround paththrough. If I use Analog I hear something. But this is only on Movie DVD's. I have also DVD's from a games magazine. There the 4 point sourround paththrough works fine.

Looking for a Win2k Friendly GamePad

I hax a Gravis Xterminator (not USB) that I cannot get to work. Does anbody have any experience with a different pad with similar features that works with win2k (maybe Xterminator USB, Sidewinder, or other)?.

Still Waiting For Rage 128 Win2k Final Drivers!

Its funny how ATI ships final win2k (and ME) drivers with their new Radeon cards but hasn't released a new Rage 128 beta since May 29, 2000. I'm using an even older beta driver because the newer version is causing random lockups in Quake 3.

Anyone know how to set my brand spankin' new Tiger 100 for Celeron 500's that use a 7. 5 multiplier? I could probably make an educated guess if I studied the jumper chart long and hard enough, but I'd rather not fry a new $185 mobo, however unlikely that might be.

Win2K/SBLive problem

Playing Dungeon Keeper2 in Win2K Pro, the sound gets screwy. It sounds like two sound files are playing at the same time. Any ideas? System specs: Athlon 700(with 800 core) 256megsPC133 Epox 7KXA mobo Voodoo5 5500 AGP SB Live X-gamers Realtek 8139 NIC Adaptec 2940AU SCSI PCI.

A7V + Geforce 256 + Win2k sp1 = STABLE!

Well boys and girls, after endless tinkering with my new A7V system, I've finally achieved 100% stability in all programs. I'm able to run all my games without any Geforce lockups. Just thought some people would like to know how to achieve this miraculous feat.

This is not so much a Win2k question as it is a Windows Networking question, but how, if possible, can I share a Lexmark 3200 with other computers on the network. The software appears to be so complex, that it neglects the possibility of a network.

Cannot install Win 2000 from WIn Me!

I screwed up. . Dont ask me why I even did this. . I was using a dual boot config of Win98 (Drive C) and Win2k(Drive e) when I decided to upgrade my 98 to ME. All went well, but I lost my Dual Boot Menu upon boot up, and could only load WinME.

TV-Outing from NVidia's 6.18 drivers

The recent 6. 18 drivers allow tv-out from win2k without rebooting, HOWEVER the output device option is buried DEEP in the display properties. Anyone know of a tweak/tool that can turn TV-Out on/off more simply (i'd prefer not to use TVTool app) tia!.
