CUSL2, Yamaha 4416s & Win2k

OK, I've just slammed together the latest and greatest PC for my use. The CUSL2 is a nice bit of kit (Cheers to all who recommended it in my last thread) I have however now hit a slight problem. My Yamaha 4416s CD-RW was working fine before this upgrade.

i just got an Asus A7V(KT133) and a T-bird 800 a few days ago, and it seems to be running great, but i cant figure out how to enable AGP 4x. it is set to optimal performance in the bios. that suposedly makes AGP 4x available.

WinTV severe drawing problems!

Hi, i got a Hauppauge WinTV PCI and i got severe drawing problems. When ever i resize the windows more than one certan point i get ugly stripes all over the picture, same goes when i go fullscreen. .

Overheating LED on SuperMicro Case

I've got a SuperMicro mini-tower case (lovely piece of kit, not cheap, but the build quality is excellent) Anyway, on the front of the case are the usual Power LED, HDD LED but also a 'over-heating LED' This over-heating LED has a two pin connector on the end.

Value Creative Labs Geforce2 Pioneer 10x DVD HP 8x6x24 CDR The system runs perfectly stable in win98/Me but when put in the Win2k environment it will lock up the graphics anywhere from 5mins-12hrs after booting up.

OK, it's late, and I should be in bed, but I'm playing with my system. I got my PIII 500E to 667MHz with a FSB of 133. Nice for me. I was only looking for 650, but with the locked clock-multiplier, I just went for the 133, instead of my planned 5.

SB Live w/Live Drive problems

My computer runnign Win2k has a sblive with the live drive II. Everything on it works great, but the port labeled line in 2/mic in 2. I have tried pluging different things into it, but none of them come through to record with.

I am having a serious problem with my Aopen Ax59 Pro board with Win2k. I get all the files copied over and when it reboots I get the same error every time. ntoskrnl. exe is missing or corrupt. I check to see if it is there in DOS and it is.

Restoring an NT Volume

I had to reinstall NT Workstation and had a FAT volume. I did not save the configuration before having to reload. Anyone know of a way to restore the volume to the original configuration? Thanks, Scott Scott SIWilson@bigfoot.

I have noticed ever since I installed win 2k on my system (infinite number of times better than 98) that every pci device likes to sit on irq 11. I downloaded the first service pack and all the other stuff microsoft wants you to download, but they still sit on irq 11.

alright, to enable that start page, it's simply just an Active Desktop feature, but to get it going, find the directory Startpage under <drive>\Windows\Web\Startpage\ then go through the needed steps to enable it on the desktop with active desktop.
