Digital Reseach Scanner - does it work?

My mother's PC has a Digital Research DRSCAN 30EPP (AKA Dynotak 6p/SF-600E2), and well, it's time to reload her machine for the year. I was considering installing Windows 2000 on her machine, but this is the only device she has that I have not found Win2k specific drivers for.

Weird problem with CD audio

Lo folks, I got a weird problem with CD audio. I have a Sblive 1024 and installed windoze 2000. Everything seemed fine until I tried to play a music CD, there was no audio at all. I checked the cable running from the CDROM to the soundcard and that was fine, it was plagged into where the CD cable should be.

weird freezing problem

hi everyone. i just installed an agp voodoo3 3000 card in my machine. i'm running win2k pro. i downloaded the latest drivers from 3dfx. com and installed them. everything seemed fine until i started to play some vids from realplayer and media player.

Gravis Gamepads + Win2000?

Recently I saw some new driver for gravis gamepads under win2000 to download. Unlike the previous drivers, these were a final release so I downloaded them thinking that they wouldnt have the problems of the beta (eg that wierd bsod concerning ntgrip.

Whistler and multi-monitor support

This was raised briefly in the Hardware forum, but I thought I'd pop in here and ask properly. Are any you people who are running Whistler using either a DualHead or TwinView card? I ask because the multi monitor stuff in Win2k is basically broken compared to how it works in 9x.

Dual monitors with Twinview... ACK!

I just setup my new Geforce II MX with two monitor connections, and my two Trinitron monitors. Now I find out that Windows 2000 cannnot display dual monitors in the standard fashion. (two independent displays with separate resolution and frequency settings).

Hp Laserjet 3100 on Win2k?

I'm trying to install a HP Laserjet 3100 as a network printer on my Win2k, but it wont work. . If I install it with the original drivers it gets installed but when I try to print nothing happens. . And when I install it with so called updated drivers it wont get installed at all.

Simple problem that suck very very much! I downloaded Guillemots drivers for the Force Feedback racing wheel and when i install them i get a message that says: Windows - Unable to load device driver \systemroot\system32\drivers\imhidusb.

hibernate and standby don't work

SB Live! and no Audio from Microphone

Ok Im trying this Roger Wilco things with my borther but I cannot get any audio from my microphone with SB Live! in win2k. It is completely silent, nothing. I have latest drivers and liveware, I have had this problem before (never been able to hear my mic in win2k).

Invisible mouse pointer ???

I have the following problem. My computer has Matrox G400 Max/Dh and i use their latest win2k certified driver. I also use a MS intellimouse explorer with IntelliPoint 3. 2 (driver version 3. 20. 0. 484) On many desktop apps (like VB for example) i loose mouse pointer when it comes over some dialog or form windows.
