Mouse Problem

I tried to install the mouseware v9 for my logitech but after it restarts it doesn't detect my mouse. It doesn't even give me the option to use the mouseware settings but only the windows one. Any solutions for this problem?.

ok. noone can seem to answer this question with any degree of certainty over at 2cpu. com. . . hopefully someone here can. my question is this:does the iwill dbd100 dual motherboard have a 1/4 pci at 133 mhz? anyone know?thanks all.

HP 9110i cd-rw not working with win2k?

My friend has great problems using his new HP 9110i in win2k. In device manager, it says HP CD-Writer+ 9100, and regular cdrom usage is fine, but it just wont burn anything. Can you help us out? thanks for any info.

memory vs. video card problem-expert needed

About a week ago i added 128 sdram in my box and now i'm with 224 mb ram. Very oddly about the same time (i, honestly am not sure exactly before or after) i started getting random hard locks and some pixels distortion.

Setting different DMA mode in Windows 2000

Does anyone know how to change DMA mode between 0-2 in Windows 2000? My bios doesn't allow to change them, only enable / disable. Iäm having strange freezes with Plextor 8/4/32 ide drive with DMA mode on.

hello to all, i have a HP VL600 installed win2k pro and win me. although it supports stand by option in win Me it doesnot support in win2k. it says it is acpi compliant. anyone can help me plz?.

hi i was wondering if anyone else in here has ever tried using there earthlink dsl service with win2k. i am considering using win 2k instead of 98 but the connection software that you have to run with earthlinks dsl doesnt support it.

Best Surround Sound Speakers?

I am looking to upgrade my speakers, but have no idea which ones are the best. I really want surround sound with 4 to 5 speakers. Preferably 5, but if there is a 4 speaker sound system that gives out better sound, then I'll go with that.

I'm looking for the latest Banshee drivers for W2K, and was told that NT Compatible had the newest. . . But the link isn't working on the 3dfx faq page. Anyone have a copy, or can get the link fixed?.

Just out of curiousity, when I purchased my AOpen AK73 pro mobo with 800MHz T-Bird the local pc shop asked me if I wanted them to place the cpu and HSF onto the mobo, and since I've heard so many horror stories about how fragile the tbirds/durons were I told them to go ahead.

Easy CD Creator and Yamaha 8824S

Hello everyone Well we've bought this wonderful yamaha CD-RW writer. . . ans IT SUCKS !!! We called Yamaha support and they swapped it against a new one (how nice) (one that works). . well at least the new model was SUPPOSED to work.

BSOD w/ TNT2U oc'ed more than a few MHz

hello, well last night i changed the HSF on my tnt2u because the default fan quit working. i put a socket7 HSF off my old k6 on there in place of it. i spread thermal compound on it and put super glue on the 4 corners of the chip to attach the heatsink.

I have a asus V7700 on windows2000 and have som problems running with nvidias detonator drivers. When I use asus drivers i get about 70fps in UnrealTournament but with nvidias drivers I only get about 20fps.
