Win2k SMP and IRQ's

System Specs Tyan Tiger 133 (1834) 2 P3-933 786 mb Ram V5-5500 AGP 3Com 3C905TX NIC AHA-2940u/UW Scsi Card SBLive When I load up Win2k (Computer Management)I look at the IRQ settings and the Periperhals listed above take on an IRQ: Nic = IRQ 68 SBLive = 71 V5 = 76 Scsi = 73 These are not valid IRQ's.

I'm looking at playing around with a Dual CPU system in NT4. . . and am not looking to spend much money. Anyone know of any AT motherboards that support dual PIIs for relatively cheap? (ATX won't work in this case) My PC is warm.

Which GeForce2 GTS is the best?

i was wondering if anybody could recommend what the best GeForce2 GTS card is? i am torn between the Leadtek Winfast GTS 32mb DDR and the ASUS v7700 GTS 32mb DDR, although these don't have to be what i end up getting.

Hey m8s, I just installed Whistler 2410 a second time (screwed up the installation the 1st time). About half through the installation progress I could not use my keyboard anymore. I tried a different one and this one worked.

PC 133 on PC 100 motherboard?

Does anybody know if it is possible to use PC 133 RAM on an mboard supporting only PC 100? Maybe in that case the RAM just't wouldn't run at its full potential, w/o any incompatibility issues? Thanks!

bought computer with win2k installed wanted to partition and dual boot 98 and 2k. . . now i have a formatted 45gig hard drive that i cant get win2k to install. . it always says i dont have a hard drive or hard drive controller.

Is there anyway to tell what IRQ windows sets for each device. i am having some peformance problems. I have Me/2k dual booted. Everything runs flawless in Me, but. I have a tiger 100 and i want to use 2k to benefit from SMP.

I downloaded and installed the Via busmaster driver from to get one of my Maxtor drives to work in UDMA mode (the other already worked fine). Well, it fixed that problem, but first time I tried to create a CD with Nero, I found the new driver caused it to fail.

My SNDBLaster Live Wont Play Wave audio? HELP!

My soundblaster live plays CD's and midi, but it wont play any wave audio. So I have no internal sound! It says no wave devices installed. I used the sounblaster drivers but they didnt work! what the hell is happening! HELP PLEASE! thanxs.
