ka7-100 mobo trouble

anyone get a geforce 2 to work with a abit ka7-100 mobo, if so how? i tired out a geforce2 and the frame rate was less than the g400 and got strange graphic errors, and had similar problems when i tried out a geforce1.

Is ata100 hard drive supposed to use 75% of cpu when operati

when i do a disk speed check my hard drive is going 33 kb/s but it shows using 75% of my cpu. it is a maxtor 30G on a maxtor promise ata100 pci card. when i was using my maxtor 7G ata33 drive it would go 15 kb/s but would only use 10% max of my cpu.

i've seen quite a few posts about sharing irq's in w2k. here is a little info on it. . . simple explanation. devices are mapped thru other devices. for instance the microsoft usb joystick is mapped thru the agp port, the gameport on the soundcard and the midi device, if there is one.

After installation, the system hangs while loading windows. I get a BSOD saying something about ntoskrnl. exe. PS. Win2K is installed on the same hard drive with winMe. If this a common error, please let me know.

Just installed the latest logitech drivers in win2k and now my mouse wont allow me to click both buttons at once. Tried uninstalling but the windows drivers now give me the same problem, as well as earlier logitech versions.

I got a HP Omnibook 4150 with the IBM DADA-26480 6. 4GB harddrive. Now when i look at hp's webpage there is a bios especially made for win2000, that is installed. After i did a clean installation of win2000.

Which drivers should i use for my Geforce 2 on build 2416?

Do i use Win 2000 or Win NT drivers? I tried one set of Win NT drivers (official 631) but with no luck. Also, specifically which versions might yield the most stability or the best stability/performance ratio? ANY information at all would be greatly appreciated.

DVD-Rom read problems - can still read CDs though

OK, borke my CD-Rom a while back, decided to pick up a cheap DVD-Rom to replace it, got the at Circuit City today. Hardware install is fine - master of the second IDE channel, all alone. Reading CDs fine so far.

hey all, my problem is my video and audio are sharing the same interrupt (11), i have an epox 8k-ta mobo and an asus tnt2 magic, the audio is via onboard and i'm running win 2k professional. under my win98se installation, which is ghosted - not dual booted, i sometimes had the same problem.

Hi, I was just reading on Via Tech that whistler 2419 supports ide busmaster drivers for via out of box. Now my question is that. I never installed any ide busmaster drivers from via. I only installed via agp 404.
