Does anyone know if there is a way to get Voodoo 2 cards working in XP 2428? I tried to install the Voodoo 2 Windows 2000 drivers with no success. :-( Please help! Is the V2 100% incompatible with Whistler? ;-(.

Internet Explorer 6 cookies dont work sometimes, some sites cookies dont work on it including my own scripts and others like UBB and Homefree Admin sections etc. . . the cookies are not stored so it denys admin access Is it possible to install IE 5.

I have found a bug in windows xp 2428 with adobe photoshop 6. It seems that sometimes when i save to network shares that i have made available as offline files using the save for the web applet it will cause explorer.

Old BX6 Rev 2 mobo - Fastest CPU?

A friend of mine has an older system based on a Celeron 366@550 and a BX6R2 motherboard. He now wants to upgrade. Abit's web site lists the fastest CPU as a PIII 700. Will a faster CPU work? If yes, are there any drawbacks to doing this (chipset bottlenecks.

Sorry to bore you good folks with a dull post like this but. . . . . I have a MS Intellimouse which I have always just used as a non-wheel mouse. Now that I'm happily running Win2K I thought I'd resurrect its wheel capabilities, but I've had no joy so far.

NTFS security

When I right click on a file/folder I expect to see a security tab that allows me to set permissions. Mine is not there. Is this a bug? A feature? Do I need to run a utility now to do this? The drives I have are fornamted NTFS.

Hi Guys, I have Sound Blaster Live and 4 Surround Speakers. When I choose Quad Speakers or Surround, it doesn't give sound in other speaker. I dont get any sound in the other rear speakers. I know I can use Liveware but it is very unstable, any way to get it working.

Got a HP CDRW 9100 and want burn at 10x ? [read in]

I read on some newsgroups that it was possible to flash the 9100 with the 9300 firmware using Sonys flashtool with HP's firmware. I could not resist to try it out and after some nailbiting, booting win2k and testburning I can tell you it worked *great* ! All apps and windows see the drive as a 9300+.
