XP 2428 & UDFS

It seems that all of my CD-Roms (including the DVD)can not read a CDRW written in UDFS-actually written with Direct CD. What could be the issue here?In Windows 2k there wasn't such a problem as the CD2UDF support was native-the same i was expecting in XP.

Customizing Folders Question?

I have this little annoying problem and no one seems to know an answer, maybe someone can help? Iam using beta 2 Yesterday I was organizing my MP3 collection and putting pics(images) on the folders I went to go finish today and for some reason it wont allow me to put pics on the folders when in thumbnail view.

how voodoo use D3D under win2k

i cannot use my voodoo2 running in D3D under win2k. but the glide and OPENGL are running very good. now i cannot play most D3D games. my drivers is 3dfx 1. 0200 for win2k. please help me. thanks!.

Altering Bootup Choice Window

Is it possible to alter, or preferably remove the inbuilt bootup menu that is installed with XP? I use Boot Magic and this now adds a second layer of booting options to this. . . and it's defaulted to XP, not what i want.

Whistler Installed-NO Me now

Well after a lot of reading all over the. net about Whistler,i finally decided to give 'em a try. The installation was typical-no problems encountered-and about half an hour later the setup was finished.

Mouse Opinions

I'm going to be getting a new mouse before long. . . Wondering what everyone here regards as the best mouse. I've had an Intellimouse Explorer, the non-neutered intellimouse, the logitech optical wheel mouse, the wireless mouseman, and am currently using a Boomslang 2000.

LOW DISK PERFORMANCE ON XP

After beta2, I'm using XP as my only os now. So I started to investigate everything. The first thing I noticed is low harddsik performance. First I tried coping big files between my partitions. I checked with taskinfo's fat read n write.

Beta 2 and Soyo 6BA+ 100

Anyone out there managed to get this installed on a system with a Soyo 6BA+ 100 MB? I get BSOD when the setup GUI try's to load then the box reboots to fast to see what the BSOD message is. . Any bios setting thoughts would be appreciate, tried two different vid cards (G MX and Voodoo 3).

Wingman mouse button problems

Anybody got any idea why my Wingman mouse seems to have problems with holding both mice buttons down (as in, the left and right buttons). It doesn't work, and it's a problem in the games that require it (Black and White, most recently).

Network Problem (Sharing)

Networking in XP is supposed to be easy right? I guess I am a dumbass then. For some strange reason, my network works perfectly. BUT, I cannot get sharing to work on my computer. The default shared folder is fine, but I cannot share drives and folders by just right clicking on the drive and going to Sharing.

Hi, A usual SBLive problem using it on Windows 2000 is the very long booting delay and power management issues, like non awake after suspend. Try the following solution: Locate under \Winnt\system32 the file DEVLDR32.

Has support for gaming improved with beta 2 2462? Is Madden 2001 running? Couldn't get it to run with 2428 at all. Anyone know if the intel Anypoint Phoneline Networking cards & software will work? Thanks- BDP.

Win whsitler 2462 help!!

how do you get past the logon screen with 2462, i just get the 'miossing files' error, i cant find a activation required key in the registry which fixed this in 2428. Ive changed the regdone key but i cant change the activation required key cos there isnt one! how do i do it in this build??.
