can't flash bios on ECS P6BA-A+ mobo

i have tried about everything and can't seem to be able to flash the bios. i am absolutely positive that i have the correct flash utility as well as the correct bios but everytime i try, it prompts me with a 'file size does not match' error.

does someone know how to get this program to work on windows xp beta 2? I can seem to get them to open any mac formated zipdisk on win xp. . . . . the program install ok but they just dont do what they are supposed to do(open mac disk on windows).

I was really looking into getting an IDE RAID setup in my computer. Basiclly what i want to do is upgrade cpu and mobo and instead of just throwing a 7200 20 gig hd in. . . i could get another one and set em up in RAID.

Graphical Login Issue

I'm just writing to find out if anyone else has lost the ability to have the graphical login w/the welcome screen. I'm running XP Beta2 and the only thing I can think that would have disabled this is I installed PCAnywhere 9.

After a nice and easy install of Whistler, i tried to install the ADSL software from my provider, Telstra (aust. ) and it fails to detect a valid network stack to use to connect to the net through the ADSL modem.

As you are all probably aware, whislter has an inbuilt copy protection which requires it to be registered with MS. I know there are ways around this rather annoying process, but will it cause my install to cease to work? The fix i found requires an alteration to the RegDone key in the registry.

I'm running WinXP build 2462. I've tried to open up luna. msstyles with ResourceHacker to edit the bmp's, just want to change the blue colors, it's a little too bright. After replacing some bmp's, and saved the file as luna.

DVD sound problems

Bought a memorex dvd 1240 yesterday and thought, wahey, ill rent out a couple of films and try it out, so i tried watching the films but i keep on getting a hell of a loud crackling noise when a films playing, i can hear peeps speaking, but not very clearly (damn crackling) Any help ??? thx AMD 1Ghz TbirdA ABIT KT7 ...

Hi. When i try to install win200 on my machine it only find my second hd as 1. 97 gb, but it is a 20 gb. . . all works fine in win 98 se and win me. how shall i get win2k to find all of the 20 gb. . .

Im really puzzled as to why the darned thing refuses to overclock at all. What am I not doing right here? How far should I increase the voltage. I have the BIOS revision 1. 00. I got the slocket adapter recently and that didnt do anything for me yet? Any thoughts here?.

When i install my voodoo 5 for the first time it comes up with errors(i know its ment 2) but when i reboot and try to install it again i get the same errors. When i click on the task man icon nothing happens.

I'm running very happy with beta 2462, I have formatted all my drives with NTFS, but when I look at the properties of folders or files, there is no security tab. There seems to be no way to set access rights to files or folders.

Empty Directory Keeps Reappearing

What’s wrong with my disks? I have a directory that I can delete. No matter what I try. I even changed security settings. Chkdsk and Norton DD report nothing. Could it be a “bad cluster”? And if so what then? SK Running Win2k sp1, Fasttrack100 60G raid of 2 x Ibm Gxp 75.

OK I'm at the end of my rope I installed the latest Beta 2 of Whistler and everything works fine except my DSL modem. The modem is Korean (Korean Telecom Service) and all I know is that the Chipset is made by Alcatel.
