I have an Abit VP6 with dual 1ghz runnin win2k. Im booting off a 9. 1g u2w scsi drive and have two 45gb ibm 75gxp's running in raid-0 thru the onboard controller (pri-master and sec-master)as a storage drive.
Dual booting Redhat 7.1 and XP 2474

Ok, how can i do this without installing LILO and without using a bootdisk. Any help severly appreciated. They had an article about it at but this page doesn't exist anymore. .

I've just installed XP build 2474, a clean install, from 2462. everything is running and back to normal + my hollywood+ works now. My problem is that i have winamp running in the background playing mp3s basically all the time.

Hey all, Our company got me an MSDN account and I downloaded XP to test. The problem is that laptop I'm using has WinME installed. When I run install from windows it tells me it cannot detect the version of windows running and kicks me out of the install.

Hi all. Just a post to ask about peoples opinions of mouse pads. I use a Microsoft intellimouse explorer USB and originally used it on a 3M precise mousing surface. That began to die so instead of replacing it (5th time) ;( I decided to invest in a decent mouse pad.

Hi I recently reverted to Windows 2000 after running a Win98/Win2K dual boot. I have a damn near brand new 30GB IBM hard disk, and i used the IBM drive fitness tools to run a LLF to clear the drive in preparation for the NTFS format.

I am trying to upgrade Me with 2475 Home and am getting an error message stating Windows XP setup can not determine what version of Windows I am using and will quit. Has anyone had this problem, and is there a workaround? I dont want to do a clean install because I will loose to much stuff!!! Thanks, John.

Hey folks - is XP 2474 or 2475 ready for prime time yet as your primary OS? I tried beta2 and some pre-beta2's but ran into problems with games, my highpoint controller (which I am no longer using - have a Promise 100 controller instead) and various unexplained crashes.

after several attempts at playing halflife with EAX on, ive given up. the volume of sounds is extremely quiet compared to regular wave sounds with eax on, and the reverb is horrible. sounds like im playing in a giant tile covered bathroom! a3d didnt appear to work at all either.

Hey! I just got a new computer with windows 2000. I have a pioneer dvd-116 dvd rom and it wont read anything except for audio cds. I was wondering if anyone knew how to fix this. Thanks so much for your help.

I have this new cordless keyboard that I got from work and it has a scroll ball and two buttons that function as a mouse. My problem is that I would like to have the keyboard (that takes up both PS2 keyboard/mouse) and have my regular mouse on the USB (this is the mouse my wife prefers).

Does anyone know anything about L Tron 2543. this seems to be a hit or miss driver problem that reboots the computer when something is printed to this label printer. If someone has some kind of a clue let me know, thanks.
