Hi Guys, I have Asus V7100-T and I recently upgraded drivers and suddenly i had multiple monitors. I checked my twinview is disabled but still. No matter what I do I cant seem to remove the other monitor.

I bought a Memorex 12x DVD drive and want to be able to play dvds on my tv instead of me 17 monitor. Do I have to buy a second graphics card with tv out, or just a tv card like haupauge make or a dvd decoder card? Ok this is for people that want to keep their current file systems intact. If you plan on doing an upgrade or just a repair install, this can be done with a full install too but i don't recommend it because it can leave some unwanted files and might cause problems.

Locking your workstation.

Is there anyway to lock your workstation in XP? Control-Alt-Delete just brings up the Task List, and beats me if I can see an option for it. The help still refers to 2K too. Grrr. One more thing while I'm here, I've heard ppl say the performance matches that of 2K, but for me, I find that its quite a lot more sluggish.

I have i hardware divice that only has drivers for the com+ version in win9x. Lets begin. I have the com+ version but there is only drivers for the USB version for win2k. The only diference is that the new version of the hardware has an usb port insted of a com+ connector.

This is on a friends pc so details aren't great. . . He installed Service Pack 2 and his second hard drive disapeared, its visable to bios, but windows does not see it. Remove SP2, hard drive comes back.

Anybody with a ABIT KT7 mb got STR working with Win2k? I can get it to work with the YP beta bios version ABIT released ages ago, but it doesn't work with later versions. Hibernate works fine. Any Suggestions?.

Hello! So, here is my Problem: I have the Promise ATA100-controller. When I trie to setup the DMA-Mode in windows 2000, it tells me that the DMAmode is not available. So, it runs in PIO-mode. How can I solve that Problem.

Is the KYRO II video card any good mainly under win2k ?

i am wondering how good the KYRO II is because i been hearing it is pretty fast. Like with all stuff turned on its as fast as the GeForce 3 or something. or just feels close to the same as the GF3 but a lot less money.
