so whats the good word on GeForce 2 drivers under WinXP? is there a version that works the best? i have an ASUS v7700 Deluxe GeForce 2 GTS. . . i've heard the ASUS drivers don't work in XP so i guess i'll have to use regular ones (no big deal just as long as it works and works fast) any opinions on best drivers app ...

Counter-Strike + WinXP = OpenGL mode not supported.

What is up with that? :[ I installed WinXP and the latest drivers along with the latest 3dfx tools (I have a Voodoo5). I also installed CS fine but when I try to start a game it says that this OpenGL mode is not supported by my video card, when I know it is since I've been using it flawlessly in Win2K and Win98.

Hi I'm using a INGMAN GAMING MOUSE. As long as I'm at the Win2000 LoginScreen everything is OK, but after the login the curser moves 3 pixel per step (instead of 1/step) The problem appears with USB as well as with the PS/2 port.

DAMN CD-ROM taking Drive letters from new partitions! Err!

I recently added 2 new partitions to my hard drive. This is all on my Western Digital 7200RPM ATA100 40GB Partition 0 is my System Drive and is ~3GB Pertition 1 is my Data Drive and is ~25GB (Drive D use to be 32GB until I added new partitions) Partition 2 (NEW) is my Games Drive and is ~8.

Is there any program (similar to the MSCONFIG from Windows 98) that can alter all the programs that startup? I looked in Services for some programs that are starting up and they are not there. They are also not on the startup list in the start menu, nor have options to not startup with Windows.

Anyone tried 3DMark 2000 with XP Pro RC1? Sure, the score is still acceptable, but it's almost 1000 points lower than under Win2k or Win98SE! ez cd creator not recognizing audio files?

I have 4. 03 of EZCD creator. i go to make an audio CD and point it to the dir where my mp3s are and it says there are no audio files, i drag and drop the mp3 there and it says its not a valid audio file.

ok i have tried every build from 2481 (i am on rc1 now), each thime i boot my pc with a network card in i get a blue screen saying irq less than or equal and then listing ndis. sys as the culprit. I have tried 3 different network cards all having the same error.

After the first reboot, after it asks if I have any 3rd party SCSI controllers, it says Starting Windows XP. But then it just stays at that screen forever. The numlock light won't even go off (good test to see fi your computer is frozen).

Can't boot up W2k, blue screen HELP!

I uninstalled the drivers for my ORB disk drive and restarted. Windows found the ORB drive when I booted up again, and started to install the drivers. Something went REAL bad, causing the system to power off.
