XP and PhotoSmart P1xxx series printers

I've already done it, but it might help if anyone that has xp and a PhotoSmart P1xxx series printer, send HP some email asking for the drivers. They might speed up the process a bit and release drivers sooner than 1 month after Official AP Release.

TFT Panels - Opinions please!

I've posted this thread onto a couple of other forums I frequent, but I thought I'd get you guys to give some opinions. I'm taking a close look at TFT panels. A 17. 4 - 18 would set me back £1000. Fair enough, if I bought one of these babies I'd be using it for 5 years+.

Diamondtron Monitor Refresh Rates

I am experiencing a strange problem with my V7 22 Diamondtron monitor. I am running Win2k with sp2 and have a screen resolution at 1024*768 and a refresh rate of 75mhz (I have the specific manufacturers drivers for the monitor installed).

Well I don't have a picture yet. But I will soon hopefully for you guys. I took this old funle type thing from a old Sony VAIO PCV-150 computer. That took the air from the powersupply right above the heatsink and narrowed and focused the air onto the heatsink for cooling.

monitor goes off and won't come back on

DPT PM2044W Drivers For windows 2000

Has anybody got a copy of the Windows 2000 DPT PM2044W drivers as these have now been removed from the DPT site. ftp. dpt. com/pub/techsup/SCIV/software/drivers/windows/2k/win2kdpt. zip If not is there a way of getting to old WinNT drivers to work.

Ahhh crap! This is really pissing me off! Me and my friend both have Epox EP-8KTA3 motherboards. We both have Western Digital ATA100 7200RPM 40GB hard drives as well. I have a Duron 800 @ 1000 and he has a Duron 850 not over clocked cause I need to fix the pencil marks (lol! sorry couldn’t resist).

can't install geforce2 driver

I've installed winxp rc1. my 3dcard is a geforce 2 mx. windows automatically installed the 12. 41 driver for it. but my games don't use opengl-mode for this reason i installed the geforce2-drivers again.

I'd kinda like to educate myself on SCSI, but I haven't found anything that explains the different flavors in exhasutive detail. Anybody know of something real detailed in all the hardware involved and stuff.

Via Tech Standard CPU to PCI bridge ALWAYS NO DRIVERS!

I have an Epox EP-8KTA3. Seems no matter what Via 4in1 drivers I install I always get an problem with the Via Tech Standard CPU to PCI bridge. The error message is this in the device manager. The drivers for this device are not installed.

Reinstall IE6? How?

I think my IE6 is corrupt. . . . somehow it won't let me download from any FTP servers. I think CuteFTP incorrectly tried to mesh with it and fouled it up. Is there a quick and easy way to get a fresh install of IE6 without reinstalling XP?.

NTFS questions

I've been using Windows 2000 and XP w/ FAT32 partition and I heard that NTFS is a much better file system for NT kernel. I know that if I use a Win98 boot disc to boot the machine, it will not see the NTFS partition, AND the next FAT32 partition will replace the NTFS drive letter.
