Hello everyone i have a Nvidia Riva TNT2 Model 64 card in my computer. . i looked in the device settings and WIndows XP detected the card but heres the problem. it loads the default Vga. dll as the display adapter and doesnt install the monitor.

Fine tuning refresh rates..

I once had a sony cpd-200sx 17' monitor and with the asus display drivers I was able to run 1024x768 in 87Hz as the monitors specifications said. The asus drivers for win98 had a nice little refresh rate fine tuning program installed that makde this possible.

STR (supsend to ram) and hibernate modes work fine for me in w2k, but in windows me i get an error message that reads: your system could not enter a low power state mode because of your usb device and hibernate ...

There was a news post about a registry patch for GF3 owners in Windows 2000 which enabled AGP fast writes. I was wondering if anyone knows the registry value which needs to be changed, or if they can link me to this patch.

Hey all, It's been a while since I posted on this board, but that's 'cause I was using Windows ME for a while, but now I'm back to win2k. Anyway, so I put in my Intel Pro PC Camera which is the CS430 USB Webcam, and to my surprise the quality is really shitty on netmeeting when compared to that of windows ME.

Is it possible on an ABIT VP6, to mix a 800MHz FC-PGA and a 750MHZ FC-PGA processor. and will Win2k take advantage of all of this? probly an old question. . . but i'm not sure. also what is the max amount of RAM for Win2k Server.

Okay, I've got my duallie rig set up with an MSI 694D Pro and a 300W Premier PSU. I just came home and found the machine didn't wake up, so I figured someone screwed around an locked up the PC. Wrongo! Now I'm lucky to see anything on the screen.

ASUS Germany has posted a modified version of this driver without changing the file name. It is dated August 2th 2001. The only changes are within txtsetup. oem and the ultra. inf. The core files itself are the same.

Well here we go again. My BE6 and HPT366 are acting up again this time on Windows XP. I just downloaded XP RC2 (though I still didn't get my RC1 CD yet ). I installed it without a hitch since my boot drive(s) are one the regular ATA33 controller on the motherboard.

Replacing Windows 2000 Shell

I read the article posted on the main page of Nt COmpatible about customizing Windows 2000. I was really intrigued about changing the Windows 2000 shell. The article didn't give any instructions as to how this was done, and the new shell that I downloaded looks to have instructions for Win98.
