Win2k Server -- New Hard Drive --- Do not Want to Reinstall

I will be getting two new hard drives tomorrow, one for each of my servers. I am running my own domain along with exchange, sql, antivirus, and other servers. Everything is configured very well and my whole setup here is working flawlessly.

Okay, I've been looking through the posts concerning Win2k and SB Live!, but, I can't find any pertaining to a the problem I'm having. Anyway, I've had my SB Live! Value since the summer of '99, it's always worked perfectly.

4 Speakers with SB Live in RC2??

Hi I have a standard SB Live, with a 4 speaker setup that works fine in Win2k. However, in XP RC2, I can't get the rear channel to work. I haven't installed Liveware because I've heard it doesn't work correctly in XP, so I'm just using the default XP SBLive driver.

Zyxel Omni.net USB problem under XP

I tried to install this ta under winxp using win2k drivers but these drivers does not work. Is there a way to make the ta working under xp or I must wait the xp drivers from zyxel? Thanks for your help.

Not a huge problem. . . But, lately, my computer will decide to just reboot it self when i am doing something. For instance, once it just restarted when I clicked a button. . . I think it may be program related.

grrr. . . this will b the 2nd time i've typed this message. power flickered and i lost it all. . . anyway, i've got a strange problem in winxp that happens whenever i try to play a game with my vid card overclocked AT ALL.

Video/TV Board recommendation

Please recommend a HARDWARE based MPEG-1 encoder board, with TV/FM tuner on board, and must be work with Geforce2 in W2K/XP, possibly on the cheap side. It is not needed for me to edit with an AVI file nor do I need to have MJPEG thingy.

hibernation freezes computer right before its finished resum

Runnin WinXp RC2 2526 w/ AMD 1ghz tbird, via kt133 chipset The Computer is completely ACPI Power Saving Compliant. After resuming from hibernation it finishes the loading and then stalls at the end of the bar just before its going to finish.

Gamma VERY high after any ending 3d app with my GF256

It's only started today, but whenever I quit out of any fullscreen 3d accelerated game, be it opengl or direct3d, my desktop gamma is ridiculously high. I then have to load up the display properties and go to the gamma control, upon which the gamma returns to normal, without me modifying any controls.

Creatives Audigy line and the Via bug(fix)

Before the patch, when using a CL soundcard we had file corruption. After the patch, we have static while playing sound files (well, at least I have). My question is if CLs Audigy line is going to have that static too in combination with the VIA patch or not.

WIN2k / Local Area Connections(s)

When I go into my Network and Dial Up connections, it says my current Local Area Connection #4. When I assign my NIC an ip and dns number, it warns me that a pervious device (my old 3com nic card, that has been removed from the system) has the same values, and if both are running, could conflict.

BSoD on bootup

Well, my win2k is in danger of being reinstalled right about now. Good thing I have win98 dual booted so I can get on this forum and ask questions The deal is that, when booting win2k, it stops the process about halfway, and the BSoD pops up with the error, PAGE FAULT IN NONPAGED AREA.

Win2k Drivers for a intel etherexpress 100 a pro

i formatted my harddrive the other day due 2 problems i have been having. but in doing so i lost the drivers for my intel network card its a pci 10/100 ethernetexpress 100a which according 2 the ntcompatible list is not compatible.

Voodoo 3 runs terribly under XP with Win drivers

With the drivers that came with XP RC2 my 3dfx Voodoo 3 2000 runs terrible. I have tried installing win98 and 2k drivers but it gives me errors on installin them. Basically i get choppy game play in need for speed 4 and 5.
