can't format my IDE raid on highpoint

I have an ABIT VP6 with the newest bios, and 2 40 gig drives on the built in hpt370 raid controller in a striped set. The xp setup allows me to go so far as to create the drive, but it formats to 100%, then freezes, then says that it cannot format the drive.

Stand By Mode and other questions.

Hi. Last week I built my first Athlon system. I love it so far, but I have a couple questions. When I put it into Stand By Mode it seems to only stay in Stand By for around 15 minutes. Then the monitor turns back on and I'm prompted to enter my password, at which point I return to windows.

Just got a used laptop, with a Pentium 3 800 and 128 MB of Ram. I installed WIndows 2000 with service pack 2 and all the updated video drivers, but when I try to install any PCMCIA network card it will not let me use it, even if I force it, it has a problem with the card.

SBLive + Volume problems

Well, I am running winXP corporate ed however I have quite a large problem. The amount of volume which the system is producing, is basically none. It is so quiet that even on maximum settings, it is not even 20% as loud as it is in Win2000, and I had the settings all on 25% there.

Problem installing WinXP final on Abit BE6

WinXP says that it does not detect any HDs. Winxp also says that it does not recognize the udma-66 highpoint drivers I put on disk. I do not have a seperate ontroller card. HELP!!!.

3COM NIC Problem

Hi, I have a 3CR990-TX-95 NIC from 3COM. . . After installing Windows XP Pro, I have had several problems with this NIC. While browsing the Internet the NIC seems to disconnect me, the LED on the switch it is connected to goes out and XP seems to hang for a couple of seconds.

Logitech Mouseware not working

I use RC2 and am unable to get Mouseware to install. I does not give me an error, but it seems like Windows keeps using its own driver (date 1-7-200). I have downloaded the latest Mouseware for Win2k, with no luck.

alright, on the W2K page it says that the QuickCam VC is compatiable, install the NT drivers off of hte cd (done). . and then go download the 5x version of the software, however, there is no 5x version of the software for the parrallel port version.

I did a clean installation of WinXP 2600 Corp this morning. After installation, i realized my shutdown menu's standby option is grey out( i can't on it) I went to check on the event viewer, and i found out that every time i reboot my computer, i will have 4 errors about acpi on my log.

Well my usb burner crapped out and I need a cheap replacement. When I say cheap I mean in price, not in quality. Something under $100 is my target. I don't need it to be superfast either, as I use it for mostly data, so 8x is fine.
